Not what they once were. Burger was fine, but the french fries used to be SO much better. The real sad part is that they aren't transparent with their prices. The drive-up board could be updated, but it's not! They don't give the total and the receipt explains nothing useful. So WHATEVER is all I have to say to your silly sign on the window that says prices are subject to change and have changed, AFTER I've ordered. Thanks for nothing. BTW: The 2nd star was for the burger, nothing else.

My husband and I ate at the Citrus Heights California Burger for the 1st time. I am totally amazed at how good that food is, we got a chicken quesadilla and it is the best quesadilla I have ever had. I will continue to go there every time I pass through Citrus Heights going to California I live in Reno NV. I wish we had a California BURGER restaurant in Reno.Just because the name says California doesn't mean it has to only be in California I would eat there every day. There prices are a little high the the food is well worth it. GREAT JOB YOUR GUYS.
Been going here for years. This place is absolutely amazing, takes a bit to make your food, but it's well worth it.California Best Burger, Patty Melt and fried zucchini are my go to's
First time visit, I ordered the mushroom burger fries and a soft drink. Meal came to almost $20, you would think there would be a list of taste to the burger but couldn’t tell. Fries were hot, but the soda did not have enough fizz to it. The restaurant was warm inside and no circulation, they had a girl cleaning tables with 409 and that does not do your senses good while eating. For the price I paid , I think I will not return.
I’ve enjoyed this restaurant for over 20 years. They always are reliable for great food. I’m thankful for this family business to always satisfy my hunger. ✌️
The worst service. I went through the drive through to find once I got home my order wasnt correct. I called to explain the situation. After driving 20 minutes home I was put on hold for almost ten minutes to be told oh yeah I dont know what happened I saw those burgers there... The manager basically admitted he saw my order was left behind. Then tell me they cant redund me because they dont know if I got the food or not. Then said I dont care if you come back and hung up. 32 dollars of food for what? RIP off! Horrible service! Will not return and would not recommend to anyone.
Don't judge the modest exterior... Good nope, great food. And if you leave hungry, then go see your doctor because you have a tape worm! Plenty of food.
Good, expansive menu. My burger was fine; not remarkable, but good. Very casual place, it seemed clean and comfortable. I liked that my food was served on actual plates instead of in a plastic basket as usually happens. I was there on a Sunday afternoon when it was nearly empty. Good thing as Staff was not masked, nor anyone else.
Delicious breakfast. Wonderful customer service. We will definitely be going back.
