This is probably the only bar on 3rd avenue that's an actual bar. They have a full bar and a variety of craft beer. The inside of this bar is very cozy and you feel welcomed. The servers and bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable of the different beers they have on tap. Went on a Saturday around 2pm and place wasn't to packed even though the Padre were playing. Would definitely recommend this place.
The staff was nice, and the waitress really was helpful with my friend who was trying to find a beer he might like. The salad was tasty as well. I'm knocking stars because I ordered a whiskey ginger for my first drink. It was fine. You can't really get it wrong. When I reordered a second one, it came back and tasted like a Moscow mule and had mint (why?) and lime in it. When I asked, the response was that it's definitely whiskey but the other bartender ("boss") likes to "make it his way." Ok. Do that for your own drink.
My husband took me for my birthday for the fist time and let me tell you, they are super friendly and the service was great. The food was great, definitely our new favorite spot.
Hard to belive this place is in the heart of Chula Vista. Awesome in order and outdoor seating with plenty of TVs to watch your favorite sport event.
Evening walk, got hungry and decided on Vogue Tavern, been there before for a beer and a pretzel. But after looking at the menu, we decided on fish and chips, and was not disappointed. Served with great service, and food was served fresh out of the fryer. Flakey crust and tender fish. Chips were lightly salted and just the right serving size. Have to come back again.
Had a great experience here. The servers were super nice. came in got seated fast. Told them i needed some time as me and my girl were doing a long distance date she's overseas and she was gonna pic my beer out for me. The servers were nice and accommodating. Ended up eating the schnitzel with fresh very good and the price was right will be back
Great little treasure on 3rd in Chula Vista. Adding to the variety of fare offered, the burger is affordable, fresh, and delicious. The pretzels are always a hit and are you kidding me? Ice cream too? One of my favorite lunch spots, a unique and delicious spot with great service.
