I had ordered Ceviche to go and I never once said a tostada and never was the question asked if I wanted a full family size or just a tostada. When I got home I was under the impression that a full order was placed. The guy repeated my order when I picked up my food and he said ceviche not ceviche tostada. I was beyond disappointed at what I saw. I called back to ask why I was only given a bite Size portion of ceviche. The guy said that’s how it comes. So I asked the guy do you not sell a plate of ceviche, his response was “yes we do”.. so then I had to ask why was that not given to me? They guy said he would have a manager call me but before I could say my name he hung up on me. I will NOT be going back! Horrible customer service especially from the manager when I gave her the opportunity to make it right. Never have I ever had to say I would like 1lb of ceviche when ordering a plate of ceviche.
So I stopped going here a couple of years ago because the burritos were very small and not worth the money. Today, I thought I would give them another try. I got a shrimp burrito and surprisingly it was a good size. However, as I was eating my burrito, I felt like I was eating dirt! The shrimp was not cleaned well and still had the vein. It was gritty! I got grossed out and ended up throwing most of it away. ? I gave it 2 stars only because their burritos are bigger from what it was before.
Great spot for great tasting tacos! Haven’t tried anything else yet, not from the area, googled “good seafood tacos near me” and this placed popped near me. Very casual yet professional service! Will be returning! Fast , friendly and courteous service, clean restaurant, clearing tables regularly! Jose was at the register today and cleared tables while running back and forth between the kitchen, the floor and the counter, always great to see a young kid with motivation and awareness of what “on the clock” means. Made me want to tell my friends and family about it! It would be a 45 minute drive for me but we’ll worth it! Give them a shot! Will not disappoint! Gotta try the stingray and the seafood tacos! Must try while you’re here!
Well, the food here is simply delicious. Sooo flavorful. I had the fish soup with the octopus taco. I will be dreaming about this fish soup until I get to come here again. The service is very nice. My waiter actually made me feel as though I was the only person in the restaurant. Now of course, today is Monday and it’s midday but I have to rejoice. This meal made my heart and belly glad! Cheers!

Amazing menu. Had the smoked tuna fries, fish tacos and garlic grilled tacos. Oh and a michelada. All delicious. Total hidden gem
Their Palomar location is as Tasty and Service friendly as the original Bonita location. The Raw shrimp ceviche is a classic you must taste. When they have the ahí tostada; it’s also a must have. TheOysters are always fresh and of decent size. On other thing you will like is the reasonable prices. Also try their Micheladas.
I ordered Uber Eats and I'm disappointed. If I were eating in the store, I would have returned my food. The calamari didn't have a lick of seasoning on it, none. I had to put lemon juice on it and season it myself, smh. The smoked tuna fries were ok, however, the smoked tuna looked and tasted like......salty bacon. Which almost made me not want to eat it. Also, the portion sizes for both items were very small for the price. Overall, the food wasn't worth it.
Very good service, they ran out of rock shrimp but the other items were as good as always.
Delicious! Omg I loved the shrimp tostada!! I keep thinking about it and want one again! It's too far for me to enjoy often, as I live 40 minutes away. So good and the michiladas are terrific! I will say a little on the pricey side, but worth it.we paid extra for avocado as well but thinking it should have come with it already. So delicious!
