Honest review here first time great asada tacos pricey for serving size bit dry. Second visit realised reviews are accurate. Tried pork buritto salty AF with more than usual grease, adobada below average def. not TJ type flavor with somewhat stale/hard tortillas, asada only real good thing about restaurant with TJ taste since i go often but just tends to be overcooked both times i tried them. Def wont come back again as other people mentioned El Gordo much better taste for the price and they def stuff the tacos unlike this restaurant
I came here because of their high reviews , walked in and i was impressed with their kitchen setup very open so you could see everything being cooked. I saw a huge adaboda spit i instantly knew that's what I wanted. Although their burrito was a good size portioned i was quickly disappointed with the blandness of the adobada i was also disappointed to see they had a mountain of adobada and that my burrito &friends burrito was mixed with very dry reheated adobada . 2 salsa options were ok but no where near wonderful.Price point overall was high almost 13 for a burrito and 350 for a glass soda. Maybe a bad timing to come in , but don't think I'll be coming in again any time soon their competitor in the same parking lot is a better suited option for me.
Some of the best tacos I've had in San Diego
Pretty good! Half of the place is ice cream and the other half street tacos. Had both and it was delicious! Unique ice cream flavors. Had manzapan yummy!
Read the reviews!!! This particular chain restaurant is located in Bonita in the same business center as little Cesar and el pollo grill. Yes this place is comparable to tacos el gordo yet without the same quality. The meat was extremely dry and overcooked. There were several pieces of burnt pork and steak in my tacos. Definitely not enjoyed. Incredibly overpriced for the poor quality. At least the corn tortillas were made fresh. Horrible customer service, the young lady looked at twice, standing by the regular before asking to take my order. Untidy, messy salsa bar. Will not be returning.
This place is above average. Would stop by and get some food. Wouldn't be my 1st choice as there are other better taco spots In San Diego. Prices are kinda high for what it is. Not terrible at all, but its nothing special.
This was one of my favorite places to eat and the food is great but the new prices have been outrageous. $16 for half order of revo fries and $20 for a full order of revo fries. I hope everything is ok because this place makes great food but the cost doesn’t justify it anymore.
I hate to post a mediocre review, but, that's the best I can give this place based on that experience. I got the Revo Fries with adobada and birria. The adobada is well seasoned but just doesn't live up to the standard that i expect of adobada. The birria is more like the Machaca shredded beef. It doesn't carry that much flavor and doesn't taste like it was emersed in consumé.The real problem though was that my fries were not fried all the way through. I had some raw fries in there. Even though the picture looks great, i don't really see myself going back unless this was a major mistake on their part. If I do go back, I'll probably go strictly for tacos.
Delicious Carne asada fries a la campechana. The salsa bar has some of the best salsas ever! Customer care is above and beyond and the restaurant is clean. Prices are higher than The average but it makes up with quality ingredients and experienced cooks.
Tacos are good but a little overpriced. I usually get take out but this last time they forgot to include one of the items I ordered. I live a little far so I tried calling them to let them know so I would not be charged for that item but they just answered and left me on hold for more than 10 minutes until I gave up and hanged up.
