Yes yes yes Always a line of cars ( be nice to the friendly security dude—- not an easy job). Day laborers to tech hipsters…eclectic cars in the line. Great tacos….chorizo and asada. Oddly the tacos are served upside down on the plate. Whatever you do, ask and get the creamy avocado salsa.
lines were long and the prices are a bit high, but the food was Excellent. we paid $45 for 6 tacos, 2 small quesadillas, medium asada fries, and 2 drinks. In Texas, this would cost about $20...
Fantastic tacos. This place is always busy. Expect a line and a wait. The tacos are big and tasty. There is some indoor and some outdoor seating. We've been told that sometimes you have to wait to sit. This place is popular with the late night crowd. We tried the beef taco and the chorizo taco. Both delicious. Due to COVID a guard checks your temperature and gives you a dab of hand sanitizer. When you get in you wait in line to order and they prep the food right in front of you. It probably helps to speak a little spanish here. This place is a legend and we will return.

Way too overpriced!!! I paid $75 for 10 tacos a mulita, carne asada fries and 3 fountain drinks. I could have had steak and lobster for two at OUTBACK STEAKHOUSE fir that price. Plus the food wasn’t all that good either, never ever will I eat here again!!! ?
Service with a smile. Our food didn’t take long to get. Outdoor seating available. I would highly recommend Tacos El Gordo to anyone!!
