We dined on a Saturday night. The oysters were fresh and tasty. The crab macaroni and fish tacos were excellent. The braised pork was excellent. The S M mojito was excellent. The service was superb. The live music was a big plus. Kudos to restaurant and staff. Highly recommend!
All food was cold!!! Beans were very ladden with lard. Been here a few times before and this time it was really bad food!
Service was horrible and menu was even worse, would never go back.
Great food. Friendly staff. Trendy ambiance with live music. Food and adult bevs tasted great.
First time enjoying this place, will definitely come back. Truffle Fries and Nachos for appetizers during H/H were very good, but the Muddle Ceviche wasn't up to expectations (maybe not the best batch?). However, the catch of the day we had for dinner (shared at the table) was a grouper dish with white beans and pancetta - among other things - was phenomenal. Grouper was cooked perfectly and browned on the outside so well it was like a perfect second skin; while the inside was juicy tender goodness. But our waiter/servers were what made the visit memorable. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and attendant. Food came out fresh and hot, and our water glasses were never left less than half full. Cocktails are unique, and even the bartender came over to serve, present, and talk about a glass of wine I had ordered for the meal. Ambience is nice; it's not crowded around the bar - and a nice departure from the hustle/bustle of similar establishments downtown. Music was moderate, but did detract from the conversation a little, which was quickly forgotten when the live (!) music started outside. It's very obvious the staff are excited to share what they have to offer, and present it in a very dynamic and exciting way at the heart of old Chula. It felt comfortable chillin' out here, almost like a "local hang out". We'll be back.
We had a great time and came back the next day for drinks. The bloody Maria's are great.
Food was ok- little overpriced
We were there for Fathers Day Brunch at 10am. The waiter DID NOT offer the Fathers Day menu. We found this out AFTER we were done eating. The menu offered was their everyday menu. I wanted something from the lunch menu, but the waiter said not until 10:30 or 11. But we came here for brunch. Oh by the way we asked the waiter why he didnât offer or mentioned the Fathers Day menu, he said oh thereâs only a few things in there and that was it. So We will never come here for brunch again. I donât think they know what the meaning of brunch is.
We had a great night here! Great drinks, great music, great atmosphere and delicious food!
It was busy and understaffed. It took over 30 minutes to get our drinks and over an hour for our dinner to come to the table. Appetizers were decent, we ordered the nachos and Lobster Mac and cheese. For main entree we shared a shrimp Lenguine pasta and was lacking flavor. Not worth the $30 in my opinion. Overall it was okay. Nice place, okays drinks and maybe a bit too loud with the live music. Would I come back? Probably notâ¦
