Hands down the best pizza ever! The ingredients are super fresh the pizza dough and crust is delicious! & the staff is super friendly and suggestive if it’s your first time! I will be back!
I’ve been looking for a place that had birria pizza like this! My boyfriend & I ordered half La vaca flaca (birria pizza) & half Chorizón (chorizó & shrimp) So delicious & rich in flavor. Authentic Mexican food on a pizza. Chipotle mango wings hit the spot! If you enjoy drinking beer, they have different options for micheladas. The atmosphere is positive and welcoming I was attended by Jose. Definitely recommend!
I've never had a Mexican pizza before and was pleasantly surprised by how well it went together. The crust was extremely good. Crunchy, crispy on the outside and fluffy, steamy on the inside. The addition of cornmeal in and on top of the crust was very much appreciated as well.For two people, it's tough to get a good sampling so we ordered the smallest size and got it half half. One side Birria and the other side el pastor. The ingredients were fresh and tasted great. The meat was very soft and flavorful and was paired with crisp radishes and cilantro. The soup it came with was perfect for scooping onto your next pizza bite. The el pastor came with a lot of pineapple, a bit more than I would have liked. There was more pineapple than meat haha. It's a bit heavy overall, the two of us were so full after around 2 - 3 slices.Beer, wine and soda are available. They have a beautiful interior and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is super kind and friendly. Would recommend if you are in the area but bring friends!
This is the best pizza ever! This place is cute and tiny but it makes up for it with outdoor sitting, take-out, and some DELICIOUS Pizza ? I can’t wait to go again

This place is a bit hidden in Chula Vista but well worth it if you live in the area or even if you have to drive a bit. They serve delicious and unique pizzas. The place was clean and the staff was friendly. The owner was there hustling and taking care of his customers. We ordered the Frida Margherita, Dame Tu Maiz as well as a regular cheese pizza for the kids. They knocked them all out of the park. The dough they use is something special. You must give this place a try. Definitely keeping this place in the rotation whenever the family wants pizza.
A delicious take on pizza! My girlfriend and I dined-in at Pizzeria El Jefe and we loved it.We had the Mi Loco Mango pizza with chicken, mango, chipotle sauce, and red onions. The flavors worked really well together. We also had Gallo Borracho wings and the churros. All in all, a great place to spice up a pizza and wings lunch.Inside was really cool with a beautiful Frida Kahlo mural on the wall and a small bar as well. Jose is super nice and accommodating too!We’ll definitely be back!

My absolute favorite pizza spot! They have the most unique pizza flavors that you can’t find anywhere else. The staff and owners are always so welcoming and kind. Highly recommend El Jefe to satisfy your pizza cravings!
I'm very upset at this pizza shop. I ordered a mango pizza and the thing didn't even last me an hour. I ate it all in one sitting. My wife wanted a piece and after she demolished hers I bit her hand because no one will touch my pizza made by El Jefe. Seriously though, this pizza is fire ?My wife took this picture because it was going to be proof of our divorce but it's the last two slices. She was like, " one for you and one for me" and I said no because it was too good. I should go get some more tomorrow. It's ? ya'll
