Subpar customer service. I was served a special combo pho with almost all noodles with little soup. Worse part, the soup was not even hot enough to cook the meat through. The server gave me another bowl and told me they’re not allowed to make a new one and to take as much noodles and meat as I’d like from the old bowl to transfer to the new one and they’ll give me some soup. Like what.. I literally was served a bowl that was inedible and you tell me you can’t make a new one? We left the restaurant hungry so we grabbed froyo next door instead lol
Right now I'm enjoying spending time with family in San Diego, California. We decided to have a late lunch of Vietnamese food. Oooo..yum yum. I had Pho Ga with beef meatballs added (which includes bean sprouts, Thai basil and jalapeno) plus Vegetable Tempura. This restaurant is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm actually surprised, but enjoying, R&B smooth music.
We ordered the Viet spring roll and found out that there was a piece of long hair within the roll, after our family had already taken the first bit of it.Notified the server about such situation immediately, and the guy simply took the dish back unconcernedly. We would still like a new dish but perhaps some degree of apologies. There was no apologies throughout the entire process. It seemed to us that the server did not even mind that it is not supposed to happen.An absolutely unpleasant experience.
Shrimp rolls, very good. Love that peanut sauce. Also love the bowls with noodles, shrimp and beef. Fresh veggies, sprouts and greens. So delish
Very pleased with the bun dish (noodle dish without soup, it's with veggies protein and sauce) I ordered.The man who took my order was very nice. The food was great and I really appreciate how thin they cut the lettuce. Most places I order this dish from just roughly cut it.It actually opens at 11am not 10am like it says on Google maps. Also the prices are about $3 more than reflected on the menu pictures on here.
One star for out of three plates only one was semi decent. The others were cold, no service no water, the waiter couldn't even go outside, a safety hazard with the heater and no passage way. Then after we paid, I let the hostess know about the service and the answer I got was ok. Wow unacceptable. Not even I'm sorry which is all I was looking for. When I told her that her ok was unacceptable she just continued talking to the person at the register. Poor service and I'll never come back. I've been there so many times but that was before the pandemic and you would think bless the lord someone went to eat at their restaurant thats the treatment. Shocking and shocking that the food was cold. This was my second time and it was worst than the first since the pandemic starred. I've had way better elsewhere and will go there from here on out.
Came here recently and waited 40 min to be seated. No biggie. But then also had to wait 40 min to get our food. And that was after complaining. Supposedly there were a lot of phone orders. I’m not sure what the most efficient process is with preparing phone orders with dine in but I know whatever they are doing isn’t working. Maybe they should be phone in orders only like many other Pho restaurants. Either way never coming here again dine in or pick up!
They take forever. Always a wait for the table. Then they take forever to take your order. Food is okay. I have had better. Hard in this area. Not to many choices to dine in for pho. If there was, I would go there instead.On this particular occasion, w waited 35 minutes for the table which was fine, but then they gave my table away to someone else. Then of course waiting forever to get the order in.
A cold day is always a good day for Phò. Today I had a large bowl with all the cuts of meat and all the toppings (Sriracha included). The beef based broth was hot and the noodles plentiful. (Enough for 2 really) but I ate it all. Worth the money for sure.
Waited an additional time on top of the 50 minutes I had already waited because my order was given to somebody else #coldfrustratedandhungry
