NOT GREAT AT ALL!!! Vacationing from the South, and having experienced “original” Krispy Kreme donuts from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, I found that there was NOTHING extra-ordinary about these donuts from this shop! Believe me…. I am a connoisseur of Krispy Kreme donuts! For you people that do not know, Krispy Kreme donuts are to “melt” in your mouth as you silently scream about the “goodness” your taste buds are experiencing. The ones I purchased from this shop are no better than regular “gas station” donuts.
Krispy Kreme is amazing as always. On the other hand the employee Debbie at the Chula Vista location was very rude and unprofessional. I called to ask a question about my order, didn’t even get to ask my question mind you. She flat out said, if it was any other day I would have time for you but today I’m super busy and have no time for you. You can go online and figure it out. Like WTHECK! I didn’t even ask my question so how would she have known what I was calling for first off, and secondly WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THAT! I completely understand being really busy but treating a customer like that is uncalled for regardless of being busy or not. That’s her work place and obviously customers are the partial key to that place.
There is no other donut shop that makes better doughnuts thank Krispy Kreme. This location is always clean. The service is fast and usually friendly. You'll be in and out in no time. You can download their app to purchase ahead and earn rewards at the same time.
So delightful and delicious. Yummy. All of the donuts hit!! Pictures are from two separate occasions cause they where that good. The best are the filled ones!! So goooood.
Just purchased 2 dozen of the TWIX speciality doughnuts. While the combination of Krispy Kreme and TWIX is a dream come true, I'm curious as to why these doughnuts are not nearly as soft as the typical chocolate glazed? Just a bit disappointing.
I have to travel to get these donuts, but they're worth the drive.
Love the donut variety.. too bad they don't make them here.. have to drive up to Clairmont for that...
People say it's terrible or not as good as it's competition however that is not the case as they have some of the highest quality donuts you can get outside of making them at home. Their donuts taste great all being new takes on the classics. Their iconic glazed donuts are good however the other flavors are also just as if not better. You owe it to yourself to get a dozen every once in a while.
Not worth the drive. Our neighborhood donuts are so much better. We wanted to try out their seasonal doughnuts and they only had 2 of 3 of the flavors and the flavors they did have were terrible. The saving grace of this trip was the filled birthday cake doughnut. It was the only doughnut worth eating to be perfectly honest.
Great doughnuts, good coffee, clean establishment. Would recommend
