Classic and great sandwiches
I had been coming to this place for almost 20 years. Recently when I came to get some lunch I was told to put my mask on. I explained that I had a medical exemption & that I am not able to wear a mask at this time. The lady who I'm pretty sure is the owner's daughter refused to serve me without a mask. It was very upsetting the way she treated me. I will no longer be eating at this establishment.
The BBQ Pork sandwich IS REALLY GOOD!. My favorite to go spot for them in all SD so far.
I had the most delicious turkey sandwich here. Would recommend trying it!
The chicken teriyaki bowl wasn't very good. The rice didn't taste fresh and the broccoli was cold. Not sure if the used frozen broccoli.
Consistent with their food and customer service!
This place has awesome options for everyone, even vegetarians. Highly recommend - the portions are large and the service is super nice.
First time trying. I got the tuna sandwich which was average. I'm from the East Coast so it's really hard trying to find a decent sandwich especially in San Diego for some reason. The sandwich and a drink was $11 which is kind of pricey. But the sandwich is decent size so it's really nothing to complain about. I heard the hankster was a must-have so I'll probably try it next time I'm there.

It’s been a while since I’ve come here. Don’t live in Chula Vista anymore so it’s not exactly in my route, but it is one of the best places I’ve had a sandwich from!Definitely recommend if you want something quick simple and not so heavy.Love this place!Open from 10:30-3:30 Monday through Saturday just as a heads up!
