Nice service. The fish in the tacos was kind of squishy and didn’t taste fresh.

I visit my in-laws every year, and I always eat at Hector's. I feel the price is worth it for the quality of the seafood and it is always consistently good and the staff is very friendly. The Pulpo Zarandeado is my absolute favorite. It's octopus smothered in a spicy, creamy sauce that is so delicious.I came with my kids this time and sat outside. The server was very friendly and the kid meal (cheese quesadilla) was brought out right away, without having to ask for it early. My only two complaints and reason for not giving 5 stars:1. The highchair was not very clean and I had to wipe it down. The highchairs are very old and do not have the buckle, so it was not very safe for my 10month old who tried to climb out several times. Please get some new highchairs.2. I also ordered the Pulpo Zarandeado as a "to-go" order several days ago. I included the photo of both the to-go order (in styrofoam container) and the meal I had today. It was very good, but I definitely feel like the portion was not the same size (smaller) compared to what you get when you come into the restaurant to eat. For the price, please try to give the same portion size in the to-go orders!I need this recipe to make at home when I go back to Virginia. ??

We always come to eat in and take out but yesterday it was special because it’s also my brother’s favorite place when he is back in the states. We’ll long story short we ordered almost one of everything on the tacos and some other dishes and desserts. The Palomaso was delivered.

Take out service here is sloooooooooooow. I placed my order for two plates at 7:01 pm. It’s now 7:43 pm and my order is still not ready.Update: Finally got my order at 7:50 pm. On my plate, the shrimp in the tacos were over cooked and rubbery, the tortillas were burnt and hard. The only thing that was good was the refried beans, lol. On the other plate, I asked for pan-seared fish in the tacos and was given battered, deep-fried fish. A big disappointment.

The best margaritas in town. The Aguachile is bomb. If you're into tacos, you must have the Taco Gobernador and the Taco de Marlin. They serve lobster Puerto Nuevo style with all the garnishments. I recommend a michelada with your favorite beer. Molcajete Mixto has New York steak and grilled shrimp, mushrooms and chili sauce, delicious. Do not miss their popular Popeye Oysters. In simple words, The best seafood in Chula Vista!

The food is fresh and delicious and the service is great my only beef would be the only way to see the menu is by scanning QR code or looking online. I realize this is most likely due to Covid precautions but most other places simply wipe the menus down with disinfectant. I feel bad for people who don’t have smart phones because they won’t be able to see what they have.

Authentic Mexican seafood is delicious! They have great ceviche, my favorite is the Honolulu made with ahi, mango, cucumber and a spicy sauce. They have mango and tamarind margaritas that ?. Excellent shrimp and scallop enchiladas with your choice of sauce. Whatever you order, will be delish!!

Friendly and fast service. Good food.

Decent Mexican seafood / mariscos for the area. A little on on the pricey side, but ok.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service . Staffs are extremely knowledgeable.✨?✨?
