This is 100% much better Denny's than the one in National City, I drove all the way here from the other because of their horrible service. The staff here is very pleasant and the service was great. Even though this place is further than the other one from my home, I will drive here from now on. The food was just like I ordered it, I asked for crispy hash brown and they came out exactly how I love them. ❤️
We are regulars here, love to be served by Fide best waitress in the restaurant!!!Today we witnessed a waitress serving food with her long nails touching food. Not only touching the food but licking her hand when she saw that the food was on her hand! So nasty!!!!!!!!! - not only that she is touching others plates with her hands full of saliva people!!!!!Nasty- come on have we not learned anything from this pandemic ???
Had orange juice and a veggie omelette at 10:30pm. Something to be said about having breakfast for dinner, that too so late in the night. Our server was friendly and prompt. The omelette and hash browns were delicious. The coffee (and refills) hit the spot. The ambiance needs a little updating and there was a not so pleasant smell when we first walked in. But I am very sensitive to smells and other people in my party didn’t notice it. I just appreciate a place staying open that late so we could have a sit down meal that late on a weeknight.
Good service and very good food
they are very busy but good service
After 2000+ (and counting!) late night food delivery trips in the greater San Diego area, my opinion is that this Denny’s is the best around. Not only for food delivery, but as a customer, I love coming here! The atmosphere is welcoming, professional, and consistently so, night after night. The food is hot and flavorful, and the waitstaff even moreso. Shout out to night crew Victor & Jazmine, who go about business with a practiced efficiency and capable calm. Love this place, always will!
Standard but reliable Denny's fare at a convenient location just off the E Street off ramp on 805. Can get a bit crowded at lunch. Friendly service.
Back at Dennys Chula Vista. And as I should have known... poor service. I ordered the Doubke Cheeseburger. And had water to drink. 3 cheeses, white cheddar, American and Swiss. I didn't get offered a choice. As a matter of fact the server went through so fast I barely had time to place my order. F[d took forever to get there. Fries were cold. Put my water glass on the edge of the table to signal a refill. 7...yes I said 7 servers walked past, including mine, (Hector) and they totally ignored the glass. But he didn't ignoredropping off the bill. Of course he didn't even ask if there was anything else I wanted. Busser cleared off the table before I had left. Still no refill. As I was ready to leave Hector finally offered the refill. If it weren't for how good the burgers were I wouldn't come back.
Do not order online. The food was undercooked and the potatoes were not seasoned and it was a very little portion. We ordered French toast slap and payed for strawberry, bananas and we didn’t receive them. Soggy French toast and soggy and wet eggs . Just gross
This location is horrible. I went for some breakfast around 11am and I did not receive my food until 1215pm! This is ridiculous! The cookers don't even know how to read the screen of which food is suppose to be cooked first. I was not the only one waiting for more than an hour. There was people that arrived after us and they were served first. Even my food was cold! My mozarella sticks were cold, the cheese wouldn't even stretch of how cold they were. I had to ask for water 4 times so they can bring it and coffee.. all bc the servers had to be so focused in hurrying the cookers because Everyone was waiting for their food. And worst they had 3 cookers! I honestly didn't even feel like paying.. I REALLY HOPE THE OWNER SEES THIS, BC I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK HERE EVER! they should have given everyone a 20 percent off discount off their meals for making us wait so much time!
