We stopped in after having some business in the area and reading a local list that the restaurant is on. Usually not a huge fan of list but in this case the restaurant was exciting and new. Different types of Mexican food we haven’t had very frequently in Southern California. All prepared very well and we tried four different dishes. Even finished with some fried cheese shaped in a roll to go with guacamole. The owner is equally as pleasurable to spend time with and super excited about his food which makes it even better. Definitely give the price to try

Absolutely DELICIOUS! All the flavors were on point! I couldn’t ask for a more authentic taste. All this good food, reasonable prices, AND great service! Perfect. I’ll be back here every chance I get.

These might be the best tacos I’ve ever had… the owner suggested the cabeza (sharing a lb of meat between two of us) w/ fixings, and it was so good. I also got a pastor taco based on reviews — so good and packed some heat. 10/10 would recommend.

MINDBLOWINGLY DELICIOUSStart to finish. This place should be on the via Michelin list. Wow, just wow.The menu is big in options, variety, and super-cool-unique-stuff like green chorizo. The cochinita pibil is world class, hits all the right notes, and is delivered in a perfectly made and prepared tortilla. Also, I don't even like offal (my wife does) and I swear this place just converted me--but only the way they do it. Each item is perfectly textured. No boiled, steamed or gooey and unflavorful meat, the exact opposite in fact. Perfectly seared, chopped, arranged, topped, or marinated on EVERY SINGLE TACO.We will be coming back every time I'm nearby, and will make special trips with friends and family, because this place is the real deal. The execution on each dish is flawless, the decor is homey, clean and classy, and the service and atmosphere are great.A very healthy 32 oz. bomber, from a wide selection of beers, for the clamato preparado also doesn't hurt ;)And my sober DD agrees on the tacos, so no, it isn't the bomb-az, bomber, red-beer-a-la-Mexicana talking. ?Hats off to the chef, and bravo to the whole establishment.**chefs kiss**

Most authentic Mexican cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying , pastor and head lamb tacos were incredible. The menu is in Spanish and English. The chef even came and asked us himself . Very kind and pleasurable service. Thank you , will be back for sure if I am ever in the area again .

One of the most pleasant eating experiences to date! The owner Jesus introduced himself before we were seated and wanted to tell us about the dishes and the service; he wasn’t wrong! We had Gabriela to take care of our table and she was so so pleasant, we were blessed to pick this place from the 5 star yelp reviews for my Mother’s Day lunch. We had the beef soup and tacos and it was so good! They bring it all to the table and your party can just enjoy the food the way you like it put together. The tables were very clean and whatever we needed Gabriela took care of immediately, and that’s not an understatement. The service was excellent! The beef and tortillas were so good but way too oily for my taste but, the freshness of the food just made everything blend in deliciously and it’s not an everyday meal for me. It was a treat and we’ll be back for sure!

This is a great place to try all types of tacos. The Al Pastor and Cochinita Pibil were my favorites. They also have fair pricing compared to other taco shops in the area.

GO HERE! This place is amazing! The owner greeted us and was very friendly the entire time we were there. He recommended the cabeza dish for us to try and it exceeded our expectations. It came with tender meat, tortillas, and consume to make your own tacos. We also got the pastor tacos and those were yummy too. Then we ended our meal with the marzipan flan. This place has ample seating and the food comes out quickly.

If you are looking for authentic tacos de cabeza LOOK NO FUTHER!! They offer mouth watering delicious meats that are in my opinion the BEST tacos in San Diego. They also offer other meats like Al Pastor and Lengua but they specialize in Cabeza. If you like a beer with your meal, they offer your favorite Mexican beers only in Caguama size (40 oz) at the price of a pint any where else. This place is super clean too with a friendly and fast staff. 10 out of 10.
