This location takes too long for phone orders in advance. I was put in hold for 10 minutes.This defeats the purpose of ordering in advance for takeout.When I got in, there was literally no one in line.I won't be back to this location.The Burros and Fries on Plaza Blvd in National City offers superior, consistent service.
My dad chose this place on a whim, I really wish he didn't. It's a little baffling considering it's close to the border, yet it's not even close to what people in Tijuana can produce. My burrito was already falling apart when I unwrapped it. The steak was mediocre, even Pollo Loco can do better. The salsas were bland, and it was filled to the brim with cheese. It feels like if you asked a white person to replicate Mexican food and they make it 20% steak, 30% Grease and 50% Kraft Yellow Cheese. Also super expensive!! 10 bucks for a burrito sounds okay only when you know the food is gonna be fire. Instead, I wanted to throw it in a fire. I know I'll be exploding their toilet soon ?
I accidentally ordered to Chula Vista instead of another location in the burros and fries app. I called to cancel the order and get my money back and I have repeatedly been blown off and lied to about receiving a refund. They will not refund me my money. I have e asked to speak to the owner but have not received a return phone call.
The times I've been here over the last like 6 years the food quality has gotten increasingly worse. They now skimp on shrimp and carne asada. The new workers are not polite. And none of that ever felt like enough for me to write a review. I'm ok with silently being underwhelmed. What made me feel passionately enough to come to Google reviews is being closed at 10:45PM, 15 minutes before closing, on a Saturday night. Very unprofessional, especially considering I've watched 2 other groups walk up and be disappointed since I started writing this. SMH. Cotixan in Terra Nova is better.
I got the morning burrito. It was good. It will last me all day.
I love coming and ordering food here besides the food being good the manager is amazing she literally treats you like family I would totally recommend this restaurant to everyone ?Thank You for making my day your awesome ???
Pretty good service sometimes a line of people. Good food- big variety- but a little on the pricey side.
I love Burros & Fries expect at this location. Unfortunately, each time I have visited this location my order has been incorrect. The employees lack basic customer service skills. I recommend you do not order online! If you are still willing to go into this location, please triple check your order before leaving the location. Since they will not provide you with a refund. I tried to contact them on multiple occasions for a partial refund since items were missing. The only response I was able to get was a rude employee telling to contact them online. SOOO disappointed in this location.
This place used to be good. It was even my favorite. I highly recommend going literally anywhere else now, don’t waste your money.
I ordered beef and fries and it tasted like over-salted garbage. I had also ordered a drink that the female server forgot to serve and gave me attitude when I reminded her that she forgot to include it. Even after showing her my receipt. The female server was awkwardly rude for absolutely no reason. They should learn how to cook and have some manners in order to treat their customers properly if they plan on having a legitimate business. Which they don't.
