Waited in line 30+ minutes to order. I understand there would be a wait. There are signs informing you of a longer than usual wait time. I ordered a waffle and egg sandwich. Nothing fancy. No changes to what's listed on their menu.Got my food an hour and a half later.I'd like to say the 2 hours was worth a waffle and egg sandwich were so wonderful I will go back. They were not.

My husband and i have gone here a few years before, but we decided to give it w try again for our anniversary this year.My only caution is it's a real hassle to get here and be guaranteed parking. Despite this, it is totally worth the stress of waiting for a parking spot or parking a little farther away just to eat here. It's literally a house converted to serve as a restaurant. It has a very homey and comforting vibe, all the staff were nice and helpful! Seating is not assigned, you simply order then they give you an identifier for you to hold on to so they know what you ordered. Then you enjoy your food wherever you can get a seat. All the plates are made to feel like you're eating in a real kitchen having a home-made meal.My husband and i both ordered the tri-tip steak and eggs and the cinnamon roll french toast on the side to share. It was delicious! We had a nice little meal and got to enjoy it seated inside. If you don't mind the hassle of dealing with parking i totally recommend it here for breakfast/brunch! They are a breakfast only restaurant so don't expect it to be open in the late afternoon and evenings.

Started waiting in line at 10:30am. At around 10:50am we were informed that it would be a 50 min wait. Fine, we accept that and continue waiting in line. Ordered at 11:13am. Omelet breakfast for 2. I have eaten here before and the food is slightly above average. You basically eat here for the environment and ambiance. 12:15 rolls around and still no food. We’re nearing 2 hours for eggs which is ridiculous. We have a movie to catch at 1pm. Ask on eta and still about 15-20 mins away. Problem is the group in front of us in line sat next to us still hasn’t gotten their food, so that timeframe is probably a lie. Decided to just get a refund if we want to catch our movie. We now hit 2 hours without eating and manager casually insults us because he seems to think it’s ok to wait 2 hours for eggs. It’s not. I probably wouldn’t have written this review if he just apologized. Don’t bother going here. Half the time the place is closed cause the workers called off or quit. Dennys, Norms, and IHOP are much cheaper, much better, and you’re guaranteed to eat.Ps. Dr Strange 2 ended faster than it took them to cook 2 egg breakfasts.

***Caution**** I really want to love this place, but they have some work to do if they’re going to keep their business alive. The ambience is great, lots of options for seating, and I like that it’s a counter service. However, came here just before lunch on a weekday and waited about 1.5 hrs after ordering to get my food. The food was ok, but not worth the extreme wait. I don’t know who owns this place, but they need to step up to the plate and take responsibility for their restaurant. I’m usually someone who keeps my mouth shut, but this was one of my worst restaurant experiences I’ve probably ever had.2 stars because the staff was at least kind

This place has started to decline. Understaffed, can never find parking because they don’t have enough. Quality of the food isn’t the same. Now you have to 30-45 mins for your order, on top off having to wait for a place to sit, after waiting to order. If they can’t handle the the clientele, then they should cut back on how many orders are taken at one time. Management should correct the issues and have the proper staff needed and compensate them appropriately.

Food is delicious as always. Review is not for the food or the person behind the counter. This is for the bussing lady. I am sad we had this encounter, since I have had nothing but good experiences at the Avocado House. We had breakfast there last week Saturday. My family used to go all the time, grab a table, order and have a wonderful meal and nobody ever gave us a hard time. Saturday, we went with a family friend and they had a new 2 month old baby. Usually we sit outside, but with the cold weather, we had to sit inside because of the baby. All the tables inside were full. We were standing in line to order (4th in line and not super busy at all) and a table opened up inside so I sat to grab it, along with the mother with the 2 month old. This lady came over to bus the table and proceeded to tell us we had to order first before we were able to sit. We said we understood and our husbands were in line, but we couldn't sit outside, and by the time our food was ready, what guarantee would there be we would get a table inside? She finished bussing the table and came back to harass us about it again!! She said the same thing and I said we understand, and you won't have to worry about us again because we will eat our breakfast and not come back again. I NEVER had issues grabbing a table and then ordering, EVER! No "rules" posted about it either, as she mentioned they were the rules. Again, so sad as this is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast. ?

The Avacado House is exactly just that, it's a house that's been converted into a restaurant that serves avacados ?. Jokes aside this establisment serves an array of breakfast/brunch options that satisfied ya boy 10fold! They're busy and rightfully so, online ordering is an option if you can't stay for that homely atmosphere. Indoor/outdoor seating is self seating optional, the living/dining room lived through the renovation and ironically the kitchen goes industrial. I seen a fireplace and only hope they utilize that on occasion ??. I digress, my apologies.First things first.Food: DeliciousService: Top notchAmbiance: Family Breakfast ??The Avacado House is a win, check 'em out!

First time here just a starter eggs hash browns and sausage with coffee on the side. Well cook, great service , clean environment , very welcoming very friendly.

Positive: Good food that's not expensive in a pleasant ambiance.Negative: Expect a long wait both in line and to be served. (We got our food after 1 1/2 hours arrival) Minimal service (short staffed probably)Can be noisy (especially inside)

GOOD SERVICE. I'LL BE BACK FOR SURE????
