Terrible service and food was served all at different times for our table of 6 . We were there on 6/26/2022 Sunday family dinner with my grown kids and their spouses. Our waiter never bought our drinks, straws or wipes or extra Utensils and napkins,. I had to get up several times to ask about our food and the extra items needed for our table. It took about 1 hour to finally get our food and then another 4o mins to get the balance of our food for our family . They missed 2 peoples orders and sides I believe the waiter went home and left the outdoor tables to the waitresses inside. They never would check on any of the table outside. It took additional 20 mins for them to find our tab so we could pay. No apologies from the staff .. They were all very rude that night. We have had a better experience on a previous Sunday for lunch. Dinner staff is terrible.. We could feel and sense the non presence of any owner or manager. I also noticed the "B " sign in the window. I can understand why now. The bathrooms were very dirty as well. We will never go back and I have heard similar stories from others. Very sad because at one time, years ago it was a okay place to go to, The misters were going off crazy and geeting everything and everyone wet.
First time visiting Joey's BBQ. The server (Caitlin) was fantastic and friendly. Caitlin gets 5-Stars! The Baby Back Ribs were delicious, but unfortunately you only get 2/3 of a rack (8-bones), but the price is comparable to other establishments where you get a Full Slab (generally 12 bones). You can't have a side order of the Mac & Cheese, need to purchase at least a pint. The Brisket my wife had was very tasty, but had a lot of fat. The BBQ Beans were not that tasty and the vegetable kabob was OK, but the veggies weren't cooked enough. However, the garlic bread was fantastic! So, overall I'd rate the food a solid 3 (scale of 1-5), the service a 5 star and the overall experience and review comes in at a 4 star.
We had the tri tip plate and the tri tip salad the tri tip was very good great flavor and my baked potato was very good the only thing I had a problem with was the veggie skewer had large pieces of tomato and yam on there which I'm not a huge fan of I think they could have put a few more onion slices on there and not taken up so much room with the tomato my lady didn't like the Cole slaw very much either but the service was great and it was a great atmosphere would eat here again. AND the garlic bread is very good too.
They’re usually good, the last two times I went they were great! This time was a little different.. food came out scattered & late, for our whole party (of 7) half the orders were wrong, our server didn’t really know much of what he was doing, nor did he mention when he was leaving & there was a shift change. But the second crew made everything better & made sure we still left with a decent experience.
This place is SO TASTY and just adorable! Our party tried just about everything on the menu and all meats were perfection! The spicy BBQ sauce is just right but you must ask for it. Half chicken was so tender you could slide out the bones. They have a lovely outdoor seating area with fire pit and I heard on weekends a guy sings old country western tunes on the stage outside as well. Indoors is small like an old family room which adds to the ambiance. Can't wait to go back!
I was pleasantly greeted even before I got in the door they have an outstanding outside dining and stage for karaoke. I was greeted upon entering and was sad right down with excellent service. The waitress and staff were very professional and provided many options for dinner. I chose the three meat combo. Chicken . Beef , and beef ribs.A light conversation and never in a rush the bread was awesome service and quality of food was five star.I very much recommend returning and having any one of these excellent meals. PS don’t forget the desert Apple cobbler
this was the best bbq place on the planet. everything had a nice balance and AudieLicious. coming back again great service and awesome food.
It was good but not great but judge it for yourself. My meat was a little over cooked and my chips were not seasoned like the ones my daughter previously purchased and that was my reason for going. the home made chips maybe the cook was different or just have a not so good day in the kitchen, So don't take anyone's word. it's a try it yourself kind of place. My taste buds are different from yours.But the staff was awesomethe atmosphere was wonderfuland the service was grand.
Amazing BBQ! The cornbread and warm honey butter and Spiced Watermelon are too die! The server was super sweet. Don’t remember his name but he was just the nicest! Can’t wait to go back!
One of my favorite places to eat, especially BBQ! Reasonable pricing, clean cozy, recently remodeled dinning room, now with plenty of exterior dinning seats as well! Friendly employees, serving some hot delicious food!
