Pre-pandemic, Islands was always a go to place for me and my family. We were familiar with the menu and everyone had their own favorites to order. During the pandemic shutdown, they made efforts with their takeout service, but it wasn't quite the same. Now that they're fully open again, they are still experiencing a decline, specifically in their service. Either they are understaffed, or they have a lot of new employees that are inexperienced and not well trained. For example, our fries were delivered to the table 20 minutes after our burgers arrived. How does that happen? It's not just at Islands. This seems to be a trend at many chain restaurants, as they are all struggling to find good employees. Customer service has gotten a lot worse.

I took my family to dinner and I enjoyed the atmosphere and really enjoyed the food. I was also impressed on how the waiter was on point. The manager also came up to check on how everything was going with our dinner which made the whole experience unique. I definitely would come back again and would recommend this location to anyone looking for an incredible night of fun and delicious food.

Recently visited Islands for lunch. I had the fish tacos based on a recommendation from the server. They were okay, but not great. And definitely not the quality or flavor that you could get in many, many restaurants in SoCal. The restaurant was clean and the staff were all friendly and attentive.Islands provides a decent meal in a good environment. Nothing to write home about.I hope you find this review helpful. Cheers, friends!

been coming here for years and i order the same thing every time; the bluenami burger. blue cheese is slathered in it and its delicious. while i usually like my fries soft, here they cook them long so theyre pretty crunchy, and i have to admit they are growing on me. shakes here are awesome and the special seasoning is something else entirely.

Amazing place! My family and I love this restaurant. Great food and amazing service! Never fails to impress me and my kids. The staff is always kind and the manager is very understanding! Can’t wait to come back again!

Happy Hour! Yes please! I love their Mai Tai's. Had their nachos and sliders from their happy hour. Spicy chicken on the nachos was bomb! It does get busy with sports but still fun.

Always great food here! The pipeline burger (chili burger) is always my go to. But the staple at this place is the cheddar fries. They are sooooo good!!!! They them with extra jack cheese and cheddar cheese and the scallions. The service here was great too!!

Our immediate experience on this trip was very poor. We were on the waiting list and when it was our turn to be seated our name was not called by the hosts.. This was later verified, because we were in the outside waiting area and their speakers were not working, and this they said they knew. Server was terrific, food was great and dessert was fantastic. Hosts wouldn't clean the tables in a timely manner because they were too busy at their station with the giggles. When they did wipe down the tables a lot was pushed to the floor and left. Upon leaving the restaurant one hostess was being laughing with an employee and the other just stared as we left. So, I thanked them and told them to have a nice day.

2021 there are no more bottomless fries. Only on the soups if you buy the large. The Hawaiian burger is a must here!!! I don't know if it the sauce, burger meat or pineapples but everytime it just like the first time I ordered it. Freaking delicious ? especially the Buffalo wings soo crispy!

Got a Chicken Sandwich (Great) and a Burger (Decent). The Tortilla Soup was amazeballs!! Truffle fries were okay. The low rating is for the staff. Waitress seemed to give attitude toward us unnecessarily. Maybe a bad day but was unwarranted.TL;DR Food was enough, service was not
