We have been to another Lucille's location and it has always been good. I don't know if it was a Covid staffing issue, but the service was kind of slow (not terrible). The appetizer they save and brought with the main meal and it was tepid by the time it came. They redid it and comped it. One plus is that there is LOTS of seating, both inside and outside. The "outside" is actually screened in and covered so that is nice. I would give them another try.
We went on a Saturday afternoon for earl y Father’s Day lunch. The waiter took the order, and came back once after we got our meals, just to ask about our orders. That’s it, and he didn’t show up again. He did not asked if we wanted refill on drinks. The St.Louis ribs and Tri-tip were Delicious. Beef ribs were good but there were some burnt areas. Southern braised green was very salty! Overall fair.
Delicious food at a family friendly restaurant. The menu has a great variety of selections and there is also a nice kid’s menu
Always excited for BBQ but not at Lucille's. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich, and the presentation was blah, the pork was mediocre. I thought the service was okay until we asked for staws and they were practically thrown on the table. Since they are a chain they are nothing special and are way too over priced. I always leave disappointed. When someone suggests Lucille's, I convince the group to eat at Joey's BBQ, a family owned business located in Chino, CA. Mmm, worth ever penny!!

I really used to love the food at this Lucille’s location. We’ve eaten there for years, but stopped about a year before Covid, because of two botched orders not because of the food. So the other day was my first time back in about three years. The deterioration in the quality of the food during this interval is stunning!Gumbo: Ordered two. Both containers were four fifths full (immediately noticeable because I remember always having to open the gumbo carefully so as not to spill it) No chance of that here. No shrimp in the gumbo. I may be mistaken or late to the party, but I could swear the gumbo used to come with shrimp in it. In any case, no amount of shrimp could have saved this watered down imitation of Louisiana style gumbo. It was spicy and that’s it. No hint of a carefully prepared roux thickened with file. The chicken and sausage while generous in it’s percent of the smaller portion, was nonetheless chewy from reheating maybe, and offered little flavor to this limp soup.Rice for the gumbo: Like day old sushi rice clumped and stuck together.Collared greens: Horrible! Full stop. They literally tasted like they came out of a can.Jambalaya: This dish offered hope that maybe it was just a bad day. It was flavorful with a blending and layering of tastes that was nowhere to be found in the gumbo. Oh, and it had shrimp. Large, perfectly cooked tasty shrimp. (Yes I know I could be wrong on the shrimp in the gumbo, but whatever, gumbo should have some kinda seafood.)So that’s two strikes and I won’t be allowed to even suggest eating at this place again. Hey, that was a $120 mistake I don’t plan on making again anyway.Cheers
Went there with a business group for dinner a few days ago. The food, drinks, and service was outstanding. We had the large platter and sides, all of which was great. Beans ! ! ! BBQ, all was tasty.
Dry, over cooked meat for horrible price.
Fast and good food very fun place
I give it a 3 star just for the sweet tea and the deviled eggs. The sweet tea taste just like chick fil a but a little bit better. The service was not that bad but it could've been better. My waitress saw our empty drink at the end of our table and she didn't even take it. She also had an attitude. Would I come here ever again. NO. I would only come here just for the sweet tea. The pink lemonade was way to sour. If you are coming here just for the mashed potatoes and the Mac and cheese don't even bother coming here. The Mac and cheese and the mashed potatoes taste like a grocery store mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Never again!!!!!!!
