There's a "no spice" option, so recommend not letting the name alone put you off. As someone who doesn't normally eat spicy hot foods (and was out-voted for restaurant choice), I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful moist and tender chicken. The truffle mac and cheese was also better than expected, but be prepared overall for prices that are somewhat steep for fast casual. If you're a fan of all things fried and crunchy or just love spicy with good flavor, give it a try!
Chicken is really excellent (crispy but not greasy and flavored exactly as you ask), but know that the bone-in chicken can take as long as 30 minutes. Sides include fries and bread. Lemonade was just the right amount of sweet.
I read most of the comments before going in… they said the chicken wasn’t spicy. I got there and ordered the spiciest level “Mega” (reaper) the girl at the register even asked “are you sure” i said yeah.. Got home and oh God! I couldn’t even finish it but it was good tho. The chicken was big too and everyone there was nice.
I would like to state that I wished I could rate the customer service and food separately; however, I can't so the 1 star is for the food not the customer service. The customer service was great and friendly.They changed the Mac'n'cheese ingredients. The Mac'n'cheese tasted nasty and the ratio of the pasta and cheese is horrible. They put a small ratio of pasta then put a large ratio of cheese to make up the amount they lack in pasta. The cheese was clumpy and nasty. The fries were okay but when you get to the bottom of the box all of the Cajun seasoning is there making it salty as ***. The Mac'n'cheese isn't worth $8 nor are their fries. The food made me sick. Their quality of food changed drastically and sadly I won't be coming here anymore.
Really love this place for halal chicken (only tenders, fried separate) when visiting family. It’s a great take on Nashville chicken. Their mild is VERY spicy for a mild I might get the no spicy next time, I’ll admit I’m weak. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the area.
First time here. Workers are very rude and incompetent. No communication at all from the girl at the register. Was overcharged and was told it’s the same thing even though there was a few dollars difference. Chicken was okay, breading was flakey and fell off the strip. Fries were good. Definitely not Dave’s Hot Chicken but it was okay. I’m the type of person who travels to find good hot chicken. If I eat here again, I hope those particular workers are off that day.
This place has gone really downhill. It used to be my favorite chicken spot but now the chicken is all breading. The spicy levels are way too different each time you go. The fries are bland. If you want a chicken sandwich and want to gamble if you will be getting chicken or fried breading at a random spicy level...this place is for you.
Epic! Surprisingly exquisite and flavorful without the painful burn of spice that can overwhelm the tongue and miss out on the flavors and juices from the chicken. Having gone to Louisiana for a few days, this spot was able to have an authentic emulation to the taste of the south. Don't miss out and give it a try - definitely will not regret.
Not sure about what the menu was before but there's only to my understanding 1 level of heat for the chicken. The product is good but it's not really spicy as per day Nashville style hot ? chicken. It's on the mild scale, the fries are good, soft interior and crunchy out layer with a simple seasoning. The sandwich came on a burger style bun with a good slaw that was savory, slightly sweet and still had a crunchy texture. 2 slices of pickles and a side of sauce. The sauce is good but it doesn't make the sandwich. Overall this place is good if your craving this style of food. It's a safe bet. Just wish it had a choice of Bang!
Such a disappointing experience. We walked in and were informed there was no Man and Cheese, drumsticks, or thighs. So they pretty much only had fries and tenders. Since I was already here, I figured I'd order what they have. After 30 minutes, finally got my order. There's too much competition in this niche to be out of food and take so long to deliver it.
