While looking for something small to eat, I ran across Archibald's which is tucked away in the corner of a small shopping mall. I only ordered a hot dog, but this place has everything from omletes to pastrami combos.The hot dog itself was grilled and served with ketchup, mustard, relish and onions. It wasn't as small as I had hoped, and although it was tastey, it was not worth $8.
The carne asada burrito with their enchilada sauce is AWESOME!!The asada was tender and mixed perfectly with the black beans, rice and cheese. I ate half of it and was out for the count.My sister got nachos and couldn't even finish them. She's usually a sauce hound and didn't even reach for it.The menu is large and there's something for everyone. Definitely a go to when stopping in Chino Hills!!
Surprisingly great experience. Came in hungry after my Saturday long run and wanted to give this place a shot. The chicken plate on the window looked pretty good and it came out looking even better than the picture!! The fried chicken was prepared perfectly and I cleaned up every piece. The sides were kinda meh, but overall I greatly enjoyed eating here. The whole store is clean and there are so many drink options. Will definitely be back for more.
By far the best Archibald's I have been to! I placed a phone order thinking it was for the restaurant on Archibald in Ontario. The Ontario location charged over $40 for the same thing that cost me$31 in Chino Hills. Their establishment was extremely clean and the staff was so nice. They must have made my order fresh because it was hot and delicious. I asked for certain condiments such as green chili peppers and ranch. They were already in the bag. I wanted to take a bite of my burger while it was still hot so I stopped in the parking lot. I ended up turning off the motor and enjoying my entire meal it was so fresh and tasty. My new go to spot. I want to try those fish tacos next time. Thanks!!!
Very middle of the road when it comes to good flavor.I ordered a hamburger no cheese it came with a semase seed bun, thousand island sauce , raw purple onions, tomato. Lettuce, and a thin room temperature beef patty ??The fries were hot and very clean not dark and crispy I like fries fried light myself.The decor is great and very welcoming, the booths and chairs are clean so are the tables.I’ll have to come back for breakfast and their carne asada burrito and give that a try but as far as a hamburger goes it’s not all that different from the room temperature Pattie’s from Carls JR
Good portions. But food is still way expensive & a bit dry. Nice people.
I'm happy to give them 5 stars. They're slightly on the more expensive side for a place that's a drive through but there are some items that are a good deal. If you know what you want and get the right item for you it will be pretty decent value of quality and price. Not every item has equal value and price but I am giving them 5 stars for what I get there.
Both my partner and I were unimpressed. There was a long line in the drive through earlier in the day so we thought we'd try it. Definitely should have been a 'Pass' The onion rings were crunchy but the onion was soft and had no "bite". The fried zucchini was thrown into the container so fresh the bottom melted onto the lid of the container below it and yet they were just so-so. The "Original" fried chicken was incredibly bland. It basically tasted like the flour it was breaded in and that's it. The only thing worth the cost was the Club Sandwich and Fries (and maybe the ranch dressing) Maybe we ordered the wrong things but I don't think we'll give them a second try.
Super expensive for just a lunch you be judge almost $50.00 for 2 sandwiches and fries . Food was ok regular junk food nothing out of ordinary next time I'll go somewhere else
We have been going here multiple times a week for a few months now. The last few weeks the quality has been getting worse and worse. Today we ordered wings and a burger. The wings were obviously reheated and the burger was not the same as ordered. We went back and requested everything be remade which they agreed to.To our disappointment the burger was charred and it looked (and tasted) like the wings were exactly the same as the first visit (old and reheated). Unfortunately, we won't be going back here any time soon.
