So I generally go to Alberto's restaurant in Alhambra CA. But I visited friends, in Chino Hills, this Alberto's near the Harkin Theater, definitely needs to be heard about their quality of food.Food is definitely not fresh taste, and in comparison to the Alberto's in Alhambra CA, this place portion is terrible. I ordered the verde burrito with carnitas and it's a disappointment I spoke with the cashier about the fact that the burrito has more rice and beans than meat. I cut up the burrito because it's a wet burrito and I share with family. I clumped up the meat into a ball to the side of the plate and barely the size of a meat. Cashier explains that they use a ladle for portion measurement, but the amount I was given is no way half filling that ladle. He says insist that they filled it, and would charge me for more. I usually order burrito with carnitas, because I like getting big chunks of meat with carnitas like Alberto's in Alhambra, Ca, but this place is a joke.I've eaten at Alberto's in Alhambra CA and I get three times the amount of carnitas. All in all, portions and quality are terrible, not worth the price of $13 and up, customer satisfaction is obviously not important, and the restaurant was practically empty and hotter than the outside temperature.Seriously, turn on the dang A/C. Cheapskates.

Went in today to get some carne asada fries for my lunch. It was empty so you would think the food quality would be better but the asada was burnt and the fries were hard.I don’t mind paying $12 for asada fries if they are good but what I got today was not. For that price every carne asada fries plate should be on point. This the third time this happens at this location.I went in today Thursday 12/30/21 at 12:44 pm
Absolutely love the service and food. We've never been disappointed and have tried more then half the menu.
This place was very clean. We received service with a Smile. The Waitrest was very nice. The food was hot, not Luke warm, freshly prepared and the cost was very affordable. I cook mostly at home, going out to eat is a treat. I took my Neice there for a Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner. In fact in was so tasty, I returned on Monday for a lunch bite, and I was disappointed, they're closed on Mondays. Katsu Chicken plate Noodle bowls were great. Good size portion as well. Try the bite size Chicken Pieces...Awesome Flavor. Same parking area as McDonald's and Kaiser off 71fwy in Chino Hills. Don't all arrive at once. Save me a seat. And for those of you, it was my first time there. I just try to be honest.
Sometimes the food isn't good a lot of grease and tortia hard like it's old. I have also came across hard pieces of carna asada like bone or hard cartilage on more than one occasion. The people are nice and it's not all the time but it happens enough times it's upsetting.
Albertos is good and I go their once a week. But I have to say I was let down today when I order a chili Verde burrito. The pork was dry, hard . I hope management see this post cause they need to maintain a good reputation.
I would give it definitely a 5 star if the meat has more flavor. Other than that the food is good and staff is nice.
I order burrito they served only burrito......no salsa or sause at all so I tell them can I get guacamole, I shocked thatMaxican restaurant staff does know what is guacamole....it's strange......they serve me slice of avacado instead of guacamole..
