There are just so many better places to frequent than this. I got a sandwich that cost $12. $12!!! for a sandwich. Meat in bread. I said to the guy when I ordered it...$12 for a sandwich. And he replied "yeah but it's like the best sandwich ever, people keep coming back for it." Yeah, no. It wasn't good. I ate half of it cuz I was hungry. Bread was almost stale. It was dry and just not good. I'm surprised this place is still in business and people actually think it's good. It's just not good.
This place is a gem. Super fire ? Awesome staff, fresh ingredients, amazing meats and bread. Cost is super low and fair. I'm stoked.
Sandwiches and the pesto pasta salad were so good! Now we can't wait to try every sandwich and the other sides. This place is not your average sandwich shop. The Tri Tip Bleu is the best tri tip sandwich I've ever had, looking forward to going back!
Don’t walk, RUN! Seriously the best sandwiches in Chico! Very kid friendly with excellent customer service. We had their Tri tip bleu cheese sandwich and their ruben on marbled rye — both were amazing.
Seemed a little pricey at first, but the portions are HUGE! Well worth the money. All the ingredients were good quality, the tables were clean, and the staff were really nice. It was a nice place to just sit and have a nice meal.
This place started off as a staple, easy to go to sandwich place. Unfortunately, lack of management and an increase in incompetent staff has brought down the quality dramatically. The wait time is always crazy (sometimes it gets busy, I get it) but they have consistently managed to mess up our orders every time the past few visits. For example, a Reuben with no sauerkraut and add grilled onions became a regular Reuben. Or a toasted ham, bacon cheddar is delivered untoasted and cold. It’s sad how much the effort has dropped the past year. If you want your order made correctly and in a timely manner then eat anywhere else in Chico.
Excellent meatball sandwich. Other sandwiches looked equally good. Friendly staff. Everything handmade a little on the pricey side
