This review is for a visit on a Friday night. Ordered the "2 meat bbq platter with brunt ends, and brisket" which also came with a dinner salad for $18.00. Had requested the ribs but was told they'd sold out, it as suggested to try the brunt ends. The ambiance is very nice. Good location with plenty of parking. My next comment should make you laugh but is serious. The restroom was very clean. Which for me is a good indicator of what one might expect to see in the kitchen. Think about that for a moment. Staff was friendly and accommodating. For the amount of food you receive, it would have been a good value if the quality was better. The bbq was just too greasy (judge for yourself, photo). I always prefer to dine at locally owned cafe's. But this as a bust. I felt I would have been better off at fast food chain.
My only complaint was that my stomach wasn't big enough to enjoy all of the items on the menu! This place has amazing food and friendly staff, and the milkshakes are delicious.
We stopped by as we drove through town and it was amazing. Glad we took the time but honestly we'd need a few visits to get a better sample of the menu. We shared a bowl of mac and cheese (with brisket, of course) and we were both about full from that alone.
Great service, you can eat inside or outside, they have corn hole you can play while you wait for your food, which came very fast and they were busy!I had the Cubano which was so good!!! The roll was soft, yet held up to the cheese, ham, pickles & very juicy pulled pork!!! Best in town!!! Very crisp fries with their amazing ranch!!Everyone I was with was very happy with their meals. Can't wait to go back again very soon!! Plus, to top it all off... they serve Pepsi products!!!!

I had a wildly stressful day & was on the verge of full blown meltdown. Mom said the Foodie Cafe was really amazing & so I said lets do it. There was a hole in the takeout bag & a large grease stain soaked into my cloth passengers seat! I was so devastated. Just got that car in Aug 2021. In tears, I realize the 9$ side of Mac and cheese was never put in the bag. I live across town. My sweet boyfriend called them even though I asked him not to. A very kind man, the owner Boyd was very accommodating & apologetic on the phone. To my surprise he drove all the way to our home himself & brought a hot side of Mac and cheese and delivered a sincere apology in person. I have never encountered a kinder, more sincere buisiness owner in my whole life. It was such a heartwarming gesture. I highly recommend the food TOP TIER ?. I am so grateful for this buisiness and experience
Oh my goodness! What a wonderful place! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was fabulous, everything was just wonderful. We ate outside next to the water fountain and it was just beautiful. The menu is very full as there are lots of items to choose from. We ordered the burnt ends, the cubano sandwich, the Tuscan chicken sandwich and a kids chicken strip with French fries.The cubano was perfect and literally melted in my mouth. (It was my favorite)
So it's a unique restaurant with a wide menu and while I like it, I always leave feeling ripped off. Ended up paying $70 for 2 adults and 2 kids splitting a kids meal. $11 for the kids Mac and cheese that was in the tiniest glass jar. I thought they had split it for me and waited for the next one, it was so small. I am still in disbelief. I originally thought they charged me the kids menu price of $8 which was already high for that tiny jar but it was $11 on the bill with the bacon on top. Just wow. I don't think the menu hasn't changed in awhile so this is not an inflation thing. My full sized entree was $17 so for $6 more I could have ordered a full entree for the two of them and got triple the amount of food. Just crazy.
Love the location! Had lunch outside which was very relaxing hearing the water fountain. I had the Ruben & my husband had a cheeseburger, both were very delicious. We had ice-cold beer, great experience & waitress was on top of everything, we are looking forward to coming back for dinner.
