The food was very good, interesting and unique for Chico. I had a Scotch Egg. I enjoyed it very much. Great family dinner on the patio.

I really enjoyed the rancher pie. The crust was yummy dipped in the stew inside. I do wish the silverware included a spoon. The menu was simple. But I felt bad that I got the last rancher pie prepared for the day. My sister wanted one to and had to get her 2nd choice, the bangers and mash, which she enjoyed. My other sister got a flight of beer. She only really liked two of the four but my dad had a different beer than any in the flight that was really tasty. The 2 she didn't like were more bitter than she likes. I think that anyone could find a beer they like here.

Amazing first time experience. Great food and even better beers. Highly recommend for anyone in Chico. Live music made the experience even better. Check it out!

If you like typical British pub food and a good selection of beer on tap this is a great place to go and hang out. We went Saturday and they had music in the afternoon. The staff were great and friendly.

This place has been awesome, I've been a few times but if you want something relaxed with nice atmosphere, delicious food and solid drinks I would recommend spending time here.

This is easily my favorite spot for a frosty pint in Chico these days. Great selection of varieties to please all palates, each crafted with clear dedication to the brewing traditions across the pond.If you're stopping in for something more substantial, there is a good variety of equally authentic British fare. Flaky, savory vegetarian pasty was so rich and delicious. Check out the live music on the breezy, shaded patio for a wonderfully transporting experience.Decor follows the fun theme with some nice merchandise as well. No to mention the owners--lovelier people you will not find! I can't recommend this place enough for so many reasons. Justin & Emma I love visiting whenever I'm in town just to see your smiles. Keep being awesome ?

Wow! I don't say that lightly. From the patio fire table to the delicious creative assortment of dinners and appetizers (albeit small menu) they hit every note at Allies Pub. Wine and beers offered top it all off to make one of the most enjoyable Friday evenings I've had at a restaurant in Chico in a very long time.Hidden behind BofA it has a quiet and cozy patio that welcomes you into an adorable restaurant. The love put into creating this family owned restaurant is obvious. We ordered a large array of food while we were there and not one dish disappointed us. Portions are excellent, recipes created with real home cooking and distinct flavors. Their hard work pays off for anyone who enjoys great food and the most attentive, friendly and welcoming service we have had since the start of Covid.Do pay attention to reservation times at tables. We were having so much fun we overstayed our reservation. However, they handled this with grace and we left knowing we will be back. Evenings on the patio are a special treat.

Staff was very friendly. Beautiful environment. Enjoyed our meal outside in their dog friendly patio. Oliver's twist, cox pastie, and ranchers pie all very good. Will be back for sure. Only downside was the choice of beer. We prefer something lite like a pilsner and there was only 1 beer that accommodated our taste.

It pains me that I can only give a 3 star rating as I love this place. The brews are outstanding. Here’s my problem. We made a reservation. We were given, in our opinion , the worst table right next to the parking lot, while walk ups were given preferential tables. People that were seated after we ordered were seated and served before our food was served. Even though my pie was delicious, it lacked half the ingredients it was supposed to have. Then after waiting an hour for our order, when I attempted to order dessert, I was told the kitchen was closed. Still, we do love this business and will return. Hopefully next time things will improve.

The setting under the beautiful shade tree outside is serene. The inside is beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great variety of beers and I enjoyed a wonderful New Clairveaux wine. Definitely coming back!
