Used to love it! Live close by so this truck was super convenient. Had came by to order one day, and one of the workers gave me a huge attitude about using my debit card with a "man's name on it" haha. I told her it's my husband's name & offered to show I.D. with my matching last name. She yelled about how I shouldn't be using someone else's card.I explained that my husband And I share this card for fast food... I also told her that I 100% and completely understand buisness rules, but as I was talking She looked super mean about it & kept rolling her eyes.I also explained that I have used the same card at their truck for a long - long time & didnt know I wasnt supposed to use a debit card without a matching first name at their truck. She yelled saying "yeah well were not supposed to".....lol so why are you mad at me that you're truck rules switched up. I gave her my credit card. And she continued to have an attitude slamming things around and my food came back not as good anymore. I don't know what happened, but it's sad to see a good food spot become uncomfortable. Other people have said the same thing......weird. Not going back. Chico has so many great food trucks without all the back and forth craziness hahahhaha
Tacos de lengua were tender and delicious! Even my picky eating daughter enjoyed them! Definitely returning next time we’re in town!
My tortilla was burnt and the worker had an attitude. It wasn't busy or anything, so I don't know why I get bad service or a burnt tortilla. I was literally the only one there other than the workers. Sadly, this isn't the first time this taco truck has been rude. I will not be going back to this location.
I really like the one on the north side of town on esplanade across from All Star Rentals..food was still great though...
If your not from chico and you come to visit you'll find there are a large variety of taco trucks. I have tried them all. This one is by far the best. You can tell they put effort into their meats with the great flavor it has. The workers are quick to get the orders out and make things how you want. I highly recommend this taco truck above all others in Chico. They have two that I know of and a restaurant.
Best taco truck in town! I've gone here for over 20 years and these folks always consistently have the best Carne Asada, and Carnitas Burritos. Their tacos are very juicy as well. You won't be disappointed.
