I did reservations same day and all I have to say this place is amazing ? It was my fiancé’s birthday dinner and either of us had been there before. But we definitely enjoyed it and loved everything about it! Servers were awesome. We will definitely be going back. ??

First time dining here and I will definitely be coming back! It’s authentic Italian Cuisine and atmosphere is great. We had such a wonderful waitress who was very attentive and accommodating. James the Chef came out to check on us which was a nice surprise. We sat there enjoying wine & food for hours and didn’t want to leave!! It’s a must dining experience in Chico?
We waited 45 minutes for bread & antipasto which was served by another waiter who noticed we'd sat there for a long time. He comped us a glass of wine and picked up our waitresses slack. She also screwed up my friends order completely, served one of our other friends, then fixed mistake and brought the other 2 plates out. Serving our food not all together but just messed up! The food was very good but the service left much to be desired; especially considering the prices.
It's a small restaurant. Ambiance is okay, old school Italian. The food was very good but the service was awful. The manager compd us each a glass of wine that confirmed the bad service but saved the review from 1 star.
What a great place to eat. An Italian gem in Chico. If you have not eaten here you are missing out. Hint, make a reservation. This place is popular. If you have been here before you are definetly coming back.
Always a great dining experience in Sicilian Cafe. The Chicken Americana is fantastic and is my favorite from here.

Excellent excellent spot for great food.Take it from me when I say this place has great Italian food because even though I’m not Italian myself, I live and was raised in New York City and am very familiar with the city’s Italian restaurants. So, maybe I’m not the most authentic Italian tongue, but I do know good food when I taste it. Portions are above and beyond, it all tasted excellent, and service of course is great.
