Haven’t been here in a while , couldn’t order my regular dish for lunch, fried rice had burnt egg. Just not what is used to be. Service was lackluster.
I ordered takeout from Rice Bowl and found a huge dead worm inside the batter of my shrimp and ants in the sauce they provided. The containers themselves have leaked everywhere even before opening them. The restaurant itself didn’t seem to be the cleanest and was cluttered with trash and boxes. I am beyond disgusted and will never eat from here again!
I found a cockroach in my food WTF that is disgusting you need to take care of your restaurant better you guy's are disgusting and I am never coming here again
I've been to Chico countless times! My best friends live there and of course, we tend to frequent the places we know and love. However, we decided to change things and go somewhere new! I couldn't be happier with the choice. Absolutely adore that they have 2 sides of the restaurant, one Japanese style and the other Chinese to go along with their menu! We wanted Japanese food so we sat on the Japanese side in a tatami room which was so cool! Felt like I was back in Kyoto again!The food was delicious! Oh my god, if you're looking for a delicious appetizer you HAVE to get the fried green beans. I still think about them. We ordered so many items off the menu, I can't name them all, but I can tell you everything we got did not disappoint! Seriously, stop by Rice Bowl and give em a try!

Unlike the place downtown (near CSU Chico), Rice Bowl has not decreased portion sizes! Great sushi, and still just as large as ever!
Wow. Superb! Our waiter named Henry is absolutely amazing! He surprised me with introducing me to some crunchy sushi! The way he display it and show me how to eat it. I LOVED it! I had never tried sushi to scared of the seaweed. Great service makes a great meal worth the experience!! ❤️
Everything I've eaten at Rice Bowl has been delicious and the staff are always super friendly! Some of my favorites are the orange chicken, lemon chicken, green beans in garlic sauce, and pot stickers ?
