Great food but every time I have come here the service is SO SLOW no matter how many people are in the store. Please work on time management.
The only legitimate Vietnamese Phó in chico. Everyone where is either Mong or Cambodian influenced. Or it's watered down to fusion it for the Caucasian population.
My significant other and I was traveling to Chico one day to go shopping and we were craving some pho and this was the closet place. Upon entering, it's a very calm and quiet environment that the restaurant have and the food is DELICIOUS! Their menu is very simple, straight forward, the pricing is very decent-not to expensive-and the portion size are perfect. My significant other and I always order the same thing which is their #17, which is a beef combo pho. We have also tried their many appetizers, rice plates, and other things on the menu as well. EVERYTHING here is delicious! I recommend anyone coming by this area to try their food.
Vietnamese food in Chico is tough to find. As someone from Vietnamese descent it makes me happy more restaurants are opening here and introducing our cultural foods to others. The food from Pho Le is delicious but the portions are small and it doesn't feel like it reflects for what you pay. Overall, happy to support but I would hope they increase portions or lower their prices. 4 Stars.
The food is always delicious and fresh. Absolutely love every item in the menu. Their combination noodle bowls are my absolute favorite. This is one of my favorite family run restaurants! Definitely give this place a try if you are in town
Food was ok. Portions small. Paid $27 for a bowl of soup and coffee. I paid it, first time being there and wanted to help. Was 1215pm and only 1 other customer. The menu prices aren't correct and "extra charges". Again, was asked to pay $27 for a bowl of soup and coffee.Giving 5 stars to hopefully get those prices down. Won't go back till they do.
My daughter and I met for lunch recently at Pho Le. I ordered ahead for the both of us and our meal came out just after she arrived. I ordered her the beef pho and a peach Boba tea. I had the chicken pho. It was very good, we enjoyed our time here. The resturant looks to have been a Cajun place prior. A lot of the decor and signage still reflected this. The tables were clean and the staff friendly.
First and foremost, they are a small family run business and I wish them well. We went and grabbed an early lunch. As a matter of fact, we were the first one there that morning. Hobbs pest control happened to be wrapping up what they were doing. Whatever the job, it took 3 pest technicians. You can imagine the mind starts wandering when one sees this unraveling. As far as food goes, the elder gentleman comes by, apologizes that the Hoisin sauce has old sticky sauce residue on the top of the bottle and that he will clean it. He takes it out back, and doesn't come back to replace it. We simply had to get another bottle from another table. The pho broth was lukewarm. We like our pho piping hot! Sweet basil was used instead of Thai basil. Maybe that's how they serve their pho but we are used to Thai basil. We were craving for a boba drink, they had no boba apparently.Yeah, first world problems, I get it. But all these small issues didn't add up well. For Chico, I guess they are sufficient.
Excellent food, especially the beef pho. Also, the veggies egg rolls are good.Great service and reasonably priced -highly recommend!
Had the vegetarian spring rolls and grilled shrimp rice noodle bowl. Both were lacking in flavor/very bland. The service was also very slow even though place was almost empty. Left feeling like I wasted time/calories/money.
