The worst customer service ever! When I went to pick up my pizza it was very skimpy with toppings. I was sad and let the man know it was not up to what we had last time. He was rude, took offense that I was not satisfied with how my pizza was made. Then he took the pizza? This was a person who should not own a restaurant.Maybe the better business bureau should be informed!
Stick with coupons avoid Friday and Saturday night dinner rushes and order by phone for pick up and you'll have a good experience
I have had tasteless pizzas before but the one I had last night didn't have any flavor at all. I agree that the sauce is not the same as before and does not taste as if there are any spices in it at all. Besides that, they hardly put any sauce onto the pizza. I have had Papa Murphy's on Eaton and that was a good pizza. What's wrong with the ownership and management of the Notre Dame store? You really must put some effort into your pizzas or you'll be closed down soon due to lack of customers! I warn people that they are wasting their money at this store.
When I went to walk into the Papa Murphys on Notre Dame I noticed a large, handwritten "Now Hiring" sign. Upon entering there was not a single person, except a man in a short sleeve shirt and jersey shorts on the phone. I should have walked out of the door. I stood there for almost ten minutes before a very young teenager came out, almost annoyed to take my order. At the register and all over were handwritten "Now Hiring" pieces of paper taped to things. The young teenager took my order and made our pizza. As Papa Murphys has always been reliable in quality I was just happy to end my day with an easy Tuesday dinner. Unfortunately I came home and cooked our cheese bread first. A soup of grease with crust that did not rise. Thought maybe a fluke. Cooked our bacon and artichoke pizza and again, complete grease and the toppings were in clumps. Store is very clean and pizza was amazing, staff was very helpful. Will be my regular stop.
The staff at ANY PAPA murphy's are genuinely nice people. This Chico branch holds up to that standard.
We haven't had Papa Murphy's in awhile it had always been good in the past. I walked into the Notre Dame location today and immediately sensed something had changed. I believe it's under new ownership but not posted anywhere. The store was clean but the crew didn't look happy, none wearing masks not sure if wearing gloves and no aprons. There were handwritten Now Hiring signs by register and door.Ordered 2 pizzas 1 family size 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese(not even extra) and med. cowboy that came up to $33! I know cost have gone up everywhere but that's borderline Round Table or Mtn Mike prices and those are cooked for you. I almost canceled order but didn't. The large turned into 1 giant bubble. Caused the cheese to drop in my oven to burn and smoke. My husband tried to salvage it. He poked holes into the cowboy pizza so it didn't get bubbles. The cowboy turned out better. I believe the sauce has changed. I didn't care for it at all and wished I'd cancelled. I'm out 33$ for a medium pizza. We won't be back.
I have ALWAYS loved Papa Murphys since the first time I ever ate their pizza. I couldn't believe how good it was for a pizza I take home and bake myself. I crave their pizza often. So when I got my recent craving, I asked my boyfriend to get me a "Cowboy." But when I went to cook it, there was hardly any cheese or toppings on it. I was shocked! And disappointed. Are they cutting back to save money, or did the guy just want to hurry and get it made? Either way, I've decided to give them one more try at a different location. Then I will know. The staff there are generally very nice and the food is really good and affordable.
