It all depends on who’s cooking. Sometimes your meal will tastes great and other times it will be uncooked, overcooked, or they’ll add things that you didn’t ask for. I think they need to make sure their pancake batter is fresh at all times, because you can tell when they use old batter since it ferments and tastes sour. No amount of syrup will cover that up.
Breakfast review:. Bring a big appetite because the servings are large. Probably the best bacon and hash browns I've eaten at a restaurant. Fluffy large pancakes cooked perfectly. I went two days in a row, different servers and 2nd chef, but the level of food and overall experience was great both days.
Perfect place to have breakfast with family. Friendly staff and fast service. Everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely will come back
What a great breakfast spot! The service was on point and the prices are pretty good as well! The girlfriend and I split a chicken fried steak and an order of french toast, with a full spread of eggs, hash browns, biscuits and french roast coffee. Everything was delicious, and the portions were sizeable! For $15 per person, we both could not finish our plates for the first time in as long as we could remember. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.
Great service, hostesses and waitresses. Good prices, large portions, very fresh, soft and fluffy biscuits. I like the patio seating, tucked away from the wind and traffic. Best place to get breakfast in town.
Our waitress was fantastic! We ordered biscuits and sausage gravy, an inlet and pancakes. Everything was delicious. Our service was quick. Thank you for a great breakfast!
Visiting Chico we had breakfast there twice. Staff is very nice. Restaurant and restrooms are clean. The food was very good. Portions were a nice size and we thought the quality of the food was great. We will definitely be back.
Great find! A lot of good gluten free options. I can’t remember the last time I ate french toast out. It was wonderful!! Wait staff was really goid.
I went to this cafe based on other people's reviews. Where do I start, got there fairly early, not too many people inside. I was greeted by a pleasant young woman and asked to sit at the counter. She asked if I wanted something to drink and I ordered a coffee which arrived promptly along with a menu. I noticed that the cafe was well appointed and very clean the staff was friendly and personable. After perusing the menu I ordered the Mexican omelette, I hadn't had an omelette in many a moon. Now this is where I was let down, the omelette itself was made well but the toppings were too much. On top of the omelette was a half cup of Pace salsa and at least 4 ounces of sour cream, with that much salsa I had a pool of salsa liquid on my plate and there was way too much sour cream. Those 2 portion sizes were enough for 3 omelettes, which in turn cooled down my omelette and my breakfast experience. The potatoes were tasty yet I felt the meal was not hot enough (no steam rising from the just cooked meal), too bad the toppings killed my omelette. The service was fine, however this particular menu item was not. Perhaps I should have ordered a Denver omelette. My overall experience was okay but based on the food nothing to rave about.
The customer service is always amazing along with the bacon. I cannot go here and not get bacon it’s so thick and crispy. Also they make sure your meal is to your liking, making sure you feel like you are with friends when you come in. I go in with my family at least once a week sometimes twice. Bailey is one of the best waitresses in town you could ever ask for.
