Nice place. Food was hella tasty and came out quick. They also have a counter for the facebook likes its really cute.
Knew this place from when it was a taco truck, still my favorite Mexican restaurant in Chico. Anyone who likes seafood burritos, get them here, they make them the size of your head, and the fish is cooked perfectly. The ladies that work here are sweet, and I've never seen them not having fun. The menu is full of jokes, and I appreciate a place that has fun and doesn't take themselves too seriously. The Vibes the whole place gives off is very much 'live a little bit, have fun' and there's not a lot of places left that you can get the glass coke bottles in restaurants.
Over $10 for a small breakfast burrito that was missing the avocado I added, go to Gordo for half the price, double the flavor, and zero of the attitude from the cashier guy
So, we've been eating here for years. It was our favorite place. It's still a decent, inexpensive meal, but it is more bland than it used to be. It was great when the three little ladies cooked, but just "Eh" now. What happened guys? I ordered spicy and got mild, bland taco bell style flavor. Where's the muy athentico Mexican food I used to love?
Food is great I love coming here but the last 3 times I’ve tried I have a gift card from them and they do not know how to use them and I haven’t been able to eat here because my 50$ says expired every time I use it and I’ve only used it once please teach your employees how to use them and not tell the customer so I can’t help you and I am not able to get my food
Tasted great with generous and neatly constructed portions, but the beef on my nachos had obviously been cooked previously and stored in the refrigerator. The cubes were still stuck together with congealed fat and juices from being cold... but to be honest it was still pretty good.The chicken burrito was 4-star, and the yellow (habanero?) salsa was really different, refreshing, and spicy.We'll be back again for sure despite the cold (but delicious) nacho meat.
Food is great. Always love to come in for crunchy tacos at lunch. Hot sauce is a good level of spice and flavor.
I always order the tater tot nachos with pastor and they are absolutely amazing. Hadn’t been in about 6 months and just found out they don’t have tots anymore, just fries… don’t get me wrong, the nacho fries are still great but the tots were even better. Hoping they bring them back soon. Also the fish tacos are delicious. Great, fast service.
My husband and I ate here yesterday, 12/11/21. We haven't been here for a while because it seemed like the quality of their food was not good. Before the covid, they were really good quality, and great tasting food! We decided to try it again one more time, and it was awful! My husband got fried fish tacos. The fried fish was dark brown in color. They used to use Mahi Mahi. But yesterday it tasted like it was muddy catfish!!! Just a horrible taste!!! I had the shrimp tacos, and the shrimp had no flavor. This was very disappointing to us. We will never visit this establishment again!! Really sad to see this happen. Just don't know how long they can stay open serving nasty inferior food like this!! If I could give a 1/16 of a star I would!!
Was really good a couple years ago, gone downhill since. Really bad at answering calls, customer service is mediocre and well...the burritos seem to have more and more rice and beans. Its really a shame because this was a favorite spot.
