kinders bbq is sub-par. Every time I go here. Chicken is dry, chicken sandwich is so tough I couldn't chew it, the salad was Wilted the ribs are average at best. I wish I liked kinders but I just can't have a good experience no matter how many times I go... also I have called and tried to explain my experience to them and the sounded like they did not want to hear it. I love to support local businesses and I love bbq that's why I went like 6 times to kinders but I have had a problem like 4 out of the 6 times...
Usually a big fan of Kinders, stop at least once a week to grab food for the family. Constantly buy their products in store, big fan of the brand overall. I stopped by today, unaware they were closed. Me, my wife, and my son were ready to eat some Kinders, something we all love, but before barely getting out of our car, an older lady comes out and starts absolutely berating us, and continues to follow us out of the exit once we start to leave. Its fine you are closed, but to be actually combative with paying regulars is delusional when they were stopping to buy your food, and put money in your pockets. You terrified my 2 year old son, and lost a customer for life. Ended up going across the street and getting a better meal and service anyways, and didn't have to deal with an older woman who should not be near any customer. I'm truly puzzled by what exactly went on today.
food was great and all but the employee emely was the highlight with her great customer service.
Since moving locations they switched from delicious steak fries to these nasty skinny fries. At first they told us it was due to “supply chain issues” but now they say the fries are permanent so they’re obviously cheaping out. I know what you’re thinking, “really the fries?” But the overall food quality has diminished too and the staff has gone from friendly to rude. Sad to say we don’t eat at Kinders anymore.
Service was quick and friendly, portion size was large, taste like down home smoke BBQ. Ribs were tender, chicken was juicy.
The lady owner is absolutely so rude so unprofessional of her! She needs to take her business serious work on her anger issues!
Food was delicious. We went for lunch got a brisket sandwich and a ball tip sandwich. The brisket was to die for so moist and tender. The young man that helped us said he had been there for a week but told us what he had tried on the menu and made recommendations. Also made small talk about Star Wars! He was very polite and pleasant. Will be returning for the food but also the wonderful staff.
I didn't catch the guys name who helped us at the window, but he was so nice! He helped us pick food since it was our first time here. I genuinely enjoyed the conversation with him. BUT THE FOOD!!!!! Absolutely delicious and worth it! Might turn into a habit coming here everytime we come to Chico! (Might be a little dangerous for my wallet and I work down the street!) 5/5 stars for sure.
We came to this restaurant for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very successful. The crew welcomed us with a smile and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was great. We loved this place a lot and we shall absolutely come back again. Recommended.
Long time fan of kindre's. Grew up eating it so I was excited to have it again since moving to Oregon where we don't have a kindre's. We drove clear across town not knowing they had moved locations which is fine no biggie but when we go to order the guy is on the phone. He finishes taking the phone orders and says he will be right with us. Then answers the phone and takes another phone order. Excuse me but that is not how it works. You just lost yourselves a customer. It's a shame because the ppl that used to work there were always nice friendly and always welcoming.
