I ordered a half sand which half fried I said no tomato I’m allergic and to avocado instead and crispy bacon I couldn’t even eat my food because it had tomato all over it and the bacon was raw and i ordered it to take out so I ended up just throwing it way and wasting my money I do not recommend this place seems like they take no pride in the food hey prepare
Kalico has been a great place for affordable eats in the town of Chico for years. Senior menu is great too with 4 items and coffee for around ten dollars. Beat that.
Food was good, wait staff were attentive. Handicap parking provided. Menu choses were good and a lot, but easy to choose from. Some areas had too many tables and hard to slip in to seating but they were very accommodating in providing another seating area. Everything was clean and presentable
My husband and I really enjoyed our meals. Staff was very friendly, attentive but not overbearing, timing was perfect every time they checked in on us. Great job! ?
Food was good, they made many mistakes with it though. Lost our ticket, had something green (not a seed) floating in our orange juice, the waitresses were friendly enough and kept updating us, but having to wait after our order was lost wasn't great and only to have our orders wrong amd had to be sent back to be fixed made it worse. Wasn't a horrible experience, but wouldn't call it a good experience either. 3 people 60 dollar bill and the amount of errors were crazy.Definitely not as good as the one in paradise was before that location burned down. Food was ultimately good, but it's a question of the price and service was worth the headache.
Friend took me here while I was in Chico and the omelette is very delicious way better than Denny's. Very accommodating staff and quick to refill your coffee. I will certainly come back when I'm in town.

Food was good and service was good as well. I had brosted chicken and mashed potatoes. The potatoes were real not boxed. Very tasty. Chicken was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Yum. I would go back again
It was great food the trip was long but all in all nice place to eat
