Another Taco Tuesday, another Taco truck. This time...Jalepeno City Truck located at E. 20th and Park Ave in the casino parking lot. To be honest, there's not much of a menu (10 items), but I was there for tacos. I placed my order of 4 carne asada (spicy) and 4 chicken (mild), and at $1.50 each, I was expecting good tasting Tacos as these actually included cheese with the obligatory cilantro and onions. Upon biting into the beef, it was...ordinary. It really wasn't spicy, and the cheese cooled and hardened around the rest of the ingredients, making for a difficult chew. Same with the chicken. The meat was barely seasoned, and was drowning in a sauce that was bland. Not even a jalapeño/carrot/radish was included, and only 1 piece of lime. I'm starting to realize that most trucks are just trying to make money, NOT a good-tasting product. Are there trucks that take pride in their cooking? Of course, read my other reviews. However, this is NOT one of them. Avoid if you can...you deserve better for your money.
