When you call and they greet you by your name and know what you want to order it gives all kinds of ti gly sensations in my belly. One of the best places to eat in Chico. Take my Money.
Food is on point. Service is quick. The servings are gigantic. I just get the mini and am full to the brim. Mac salad is yum. Ribs are out of this world. Chicken katsu is so good. I'd only seen Hawaiian food on Food Network and had always wanted to try it. They also have poke. They are busy all the time but very fast at preparing the food.
Absolutely love this place. I drive all the way from Oroville just to get it. It’s a super popular place, so I call ahead of time for carry-out and by the time I arrive, it either just got done or I’m waiting no more than 2-3 minutes. The food is always hot.My go-to is the baby ribs. Absolutely phenomenal. Can’t go wrong with a couple musubis’ either. I bought so many musubis’ from this place that my friends actually started calling me a musubi girl.
Absolutely terrible service. We called ahead for a takeout order, and was informed will be ready in 10 mins. Once we arrived and paid, the girl told us that our order was still being cooked and will let us know when it’s ready. We sat down and waited and waited for over 20 mins. Eventually we asked the guy who works at the poke section, and he saw our order was sitting at the shelf the whole time. The food was already cold. I suspect the girl was probably high at work. I’m very disappointed with this experience.
Chicken Katsu was delicious. Large portion for $13. Macaroni salad was good, not great. I felt like omething was missing from it. Totally took me back to Hawaii life. Will definitely be back for more crispy chicken and that sauce!
This spot hits on such an immaculate level...Their chicken katsu is divine and anything bbq'd is straight ?Although their musubi is kind of mid but worth a try.
This place has good food, but a 50% price increase in less than a year are you kidding me, that’s unheard of! I get it, inflation and supply chain etc. but 50% increase really? I just ordered 2 bbq beef plates and what used to cost right about $20 just cost me $30.. if Walmart hikes their prices by 50% there would be national protests lol. In the words of Brandon, c’mon man! But go check for yourself, here’s a pic of when it was $10.25. Go order it now, I bet it tastes better ?
Great flavor, some of the best fries and macaroni salad in Chico! Their pokè bowls are top tier too. Always satisfied with Halo, everytime.
The Best place in Chico to enjoy a little bit of Aloha :) I highly recommend the “Loco Moco & Chicken Katsu”? at such amazing prices for the amount of food they give, no place like it.
It was well worth the drive to come to Chico and eat here.
