The parts I remember after hitting a concert in town were superb. Always a good friendly crowd and the drinks are always right on. Actually, closed the place - had such a great time. Made new connections and hopefully long-term friends. This is a staple of Chico, I guess you could also say a "stable" as in a grounded watering hole.
For what it is.... it was fun. A small little bar but they had live music.
I think this place has the most authentic "dive bar" type of feeling and atmosphere that you'll find in downtown Chico. The crowd here is typically more mature than what you'd find elsewhere in town, the staff is quick, they oftentimes have live bands or DJ's, and it's a great place to chill with friends. Loved going to Duffy's when I lived in Chico -- it made Chico feel a little bit more like home when I was there.
Best dive bar in Chico, even better now with the craft cocktail service up front.
Trash service and very political staff
Nice bar, classy folks, good selection of drinks. Occasionally has live music as well!
