Chillis in Southaven MS will NEVER SEE US AGAIN. I love chilli's but tonight in Southaven it was the worst. Forget taking forever to get our order in it took forever just to get silverware matter of fact we had our salads in front of us for 10 minutes before we was able to finally get somewhere after asking before a server. we both got the bottomless soup chips and salad I upgraded to the chili only to be towed there is no chili after they brought out the salad and soup for my wife. it took longer to get me another bowl of soup and we're already there going on an hour now still no chips still no salsa no refills on water watching waitresses and cook stuff in the kitchen joke around horse play and talk while table after table was waiting for service. we never got napkins as a matter of fact the service is so bad and the hour and 49 minutes I was there I simply chose to not leave a tip for the first time in years. I am not sure what happened tonight I am not sure why I got eye rolls when I asked for simple things like the chips of which we did not get till we were over an hour there forget bottomless getting a refill anything was like pulling teeth. and I wasn't even that busy simply the worst experience in Chili's I've ever had ever if I find myself in Southaven and people asked to go eat at Chili's I will not
Chili's...it's known as a 3rd tier chain restaurant for a reason. Look, don't take it the wrong way, but it was a "Last resort" situation, and we went during off-hours. It was my wife, my son, and myself...we were lucky (so we thought) to be seated so quickly. Here's what we ordered...2 flavored ice teas, a Lemon Drop, and a Dr. Pepper, plus the Endless chips and salsa. The teas were a little flavorless, but doable. My wife and I ordered the Fajitas, chicken for me and steak/shrimp for her and my son got the 1lb bacon cheeseburger w/fries. We had to send my wife's order back twice, as they confused the meat combos, and by the time they got it right I was almost done with mine. The meat was tasty and plentiful on both plates and the veggies were seasoned well, but we couldn't enjoy it together. The burger was juicy and flavored just as well. Dessert was the molten lava cake, and strawberry cheesecake...both tasty and looked good. Refills on drinks and chips were indeed endless, BUT no consistency in flavor. So, what was wrong IF the food was good? It was mediocre at best, meaning chain-food good... prepared the same all through every branch. Plus, the staff was more interested in getting us out the door as quick as possible, with the check presented BEFORE we ordered the dessert. It was, and still is, a humbling experience... something we won't repeat as long as there are other, better options. Long winded review... of course, but Chili's requires it.
They have multiple advertisements claiming that they are hiring, but when I got an interview they said they were full, AFTER my interview was finished. False advertisement. I’ll still eat here, the food and service is good. Just be straight up with people. Ended up working in a diner with a higher pay, thankfully. Anyway, I haven’t had a problem with this location other than that. Good food.
They are okay. I prefer them to other sit-down places. The servers are nice and the food is good. The price point isn't bad with their two for twenty it is great on the wallet.
This is the worst Chillis I have ever been to. Took almost an hour to get our food and then the food was over cooked and tasted horrible. Is there a way to give minus stars?
Me and my dad went to chilies and he got the chicken salad and I got the classic burger the burger was good but the salad was not it there was rotten lettuce and in our sparkling water there was rotten lime we picked it out and put it on a napkin the waiter was very nice though.
Wish I could post a picture. The food was good, but the dining room floors were dirty. You could see the caked dirt/ dust around the chairs and tables, with the marks around where they mopped. And we came in at opening time. These floors should be spotless. News flash....... tables and chairs should be moved when you sweep and mop. If this is the care you take on the dining room, what does the kitchen look like??
I'm a delivery driver and I have had the best pickup experiencing when Samantha is working. She's always super friendly, fast and efficient.Not sure how the food turns out for my customers but I know they get their food quickly and prepped correctly because of her. Thanks Samantha!
Great food. Service was good. Margarita could have been been better, you get more ice then liquid, hate when places fill up on ice.
I was sorely disappointed. Their menu has hardly any options for somebody who can't eat spicy food. In addition, their Caribbean salad was extremely poor. The salad was served with huge chunks of pineapple and almost no good texture. Will not be returning.
