Tried it for the first time today, pretty good! I've had better Mexican food and I've also had worse in Chico. I would say this is a good average Mexican restaurant. Salsa was good and my enchiladas were delicious. The sauce didn't taste like canned sauce like other places. Rice could be better but still good enough. Margaritas were okay but could tell they use a mix, so not the best I've had. This place definitely will fill the need if you have a craving for Mexican food. We were served quickly and waited only 10 minutes for our food. Staff was fairly friendly as well.
We had dinner and it was really good, didn't leave the restaurant hungry there was a lot of food they were very polite and friendly thank Casa Ramos

Food was decent I’ve had much better in Chico. I ordered the carne asada chimichanga. Every time I’ve ordered carne asada the meat has been dark like beef. Because it is beef. I’m not saying that they put chicken in it and charged me for beef but it sure seems like they didn’t use beef. Overall everything was cooked okay, but protions for the price are atrocious. Staff was friendly though. Just not happy with a 30$ burrito all said and done.
I sat down and it took about 20 minutes for someone to take my order after I waved them down. It took another 25 minutes to get my food.I asked for salsa verde and they looked at me like I was from Mars. Worst taco and tamale I’ve ever had. Taco Bell is better!!! I ordered cilantro rice but got red rice. I asked for black beans and got refried beans. I didn’t even want beans and rice but there was no a la carte! I picked up my taco and grease just poured out of my taco. I squeezed it til my plate was filled with grease. The taco was soggy! The lettuce tasted like bleach. The service matched the food…HORRIBLE! I had to go to the wait station to get my order taken, I had to go to the wait station to get a check. What a waste of money and time and my digestion was upset for days after! Don’t waste your time and money! These people could care less about their customers!!!!!
I don't know if I get more food when I eat in or when I call it in to be picked up but I must say I just got a to-go order just now of a 2 enchilada dinner and it came in a huge take out type pan. And chips and salsa too which I forgot to ask for so I'm glad that they threw them in and mind you my order was placed about 13 minutes before they closed. The only thing that would have made this extremely perfect is if I could have got one of their big margaritas to go also. LOL which I probably could have....oh well...next time! Tonight's dinner was definitely 5 stars! Good job Caso Ramos crew! They never disappoint!
The food was ok but wasn't authentic Mexican. Although it can be pricy, they serve very large portions with nice presentations. The wait wasn't long and the food was warm. The customer service was bland, the workers seemed uninterested, antisocial and monotone.
Good Food.. Enchalada it’s amazing put credit for that.
The one on East Ave is better than the one on Fair St. Not sure why but it is.
Amazing food. Quick service. Never too busy. Yum!
