Been in Chico for a few years, finally tried Big Tuna. The Chico roll was bomb and the crab taco was even more delicious. ? i will be back
The new remodel is really nice. The service is excellent and friendly, great energy! Just wish they would add some new rolls to the menu. Must try the Shiso Hot (under appetisers), crab and tuna tacos with egg plant shell (under appetisers) coconut shrimp roll and Lion King roll were my favorite.
This is a very popular restaurant. It was packed on a week night for good reason. The food is excellent!
The energy and dragon roll were the good rollsPanko oysters: the breading was moist like it wasn’t cooked fully and tasted fishyTakoyaki: idk if it’s suppose to be wet/soggy in the middle but odd textureThe rolls are smaller and more expensive compared to Sacramento sushi locations. The raw fish on the sushi had an odd taste and was kind of warm which worries me because raw fish should be refrigerated/slightly cold? This place was a miss
Normally I’m super happy with this sushi joint, but today I’m really disappointed I paid $15 for a roll to come out with more cucumbers than a lesbian can handle.
Way too good, the food here is classic and good, they have some festival favorites as well. This Friday was busy and packed and the wait was about thirty minutes no matter the party size. It was well worth the wait though and they had some sports going on one channel and an anime on the other side to keep you entertained. We ordered takoyaki and chicken katsu don as well as a Shiso fly roll. We also had a green tea cheesecake and a Midoriya for the alcoholic drink. Don't know if that was a nod to MHA but the name was cute and the drink was interesting. The food as usual was excellent and the service was great thank you very much everyone!

Best Sushi for the price. Always recommend Big Tuna to friends when they come to town. Unique cocktails... friendly service and knowledgeable. Have had great birthday parties.
