I almost never leave bad reviews but this was the worst dinner food experience of my life. The Fish was rubbery, overcooked and bland. The Hamburgers were store bought and I could have made a better on at home in seconds. The fries were stale and I honestly dont know how you get that wrong at a dinner. I also never got my coffee, and the bathroom is located in the kitchen which is totally unacceptable standards for a restaurant.
A great place to hang out while enjoying a bite to eat. The folks that show up here are generally eager to socialize. The food is good as far as any burger generally would be. However, it is a bit pricey. $20. for a double cheeseburger w/bacon, fries, and a med. softdrink. It does have me considering a burger at Burger King. Other than that, I still recommend Big Al's to satisfy your craving for a burger.
My family and I ordered some burgers for lunch. Burgers were meh, dry and small, no flavor at all. Fries were excellent. Customer service was okay, nothing super friendly but not bad by any means. Place was nice and clean. We did not try the shakes but I want to so we might go back, just not for the burgers.
Always a nostalgic place to get a burger and fries with a triple thick shake. The ice cream cone size has shrunk a bit from what I remember from a few years ago and my brother was shocked at the very small size if the burger.He equated it to a McDonald's regular burger. However he said the fries were hot, not greasy and salted just right.
I had a blackberry shake, delux double cheese burger basket with tots and it was wonderful. My wife had a deluxe cheeseburger basket with tots and a chocolate root beer shake. Everything was great with the exception of my wife's Burger, they made a mistake on it. She called back let him know the error in the burger and they said they would make it up to her with a replacement next time she comes in.
Threw up like 30 minutes after eating their green salad. Burgers and shakes are awesome but I don’t think their cold food is held at the right temperature. Yes I’m sure it was the salad because it was the only thing I’d eaten and subsequently the only thing I threw up.

Great double cheeseburger baskets. Fries are the best. Burgers are like old time great taste.
Very nostalgic place for me. Excellent food, and the tables are clean and not sticky like so many other diners. Both inside and outside seating, depending on the time of year. First time I ate here I was rescued from being abducted, and for my safety my family moved to Chico. The chicken strips I had were the best thing I'd eaten in awhile, and I loved the challenge of the triple thick chocolate shake. Every time I've been back, the food is still tasty, and the shakes are phenomenal
I used to love this place! I looked up a place that was open late cause I just got done working and they said they were open tell 10. So awesome I came and was greeted with the lady up front saying she wished she closed at 9 while I was looking at the menu. Then she proceeded to be profoundly rude and laugh at a simple add on when I felt I had a very nice attitude and did not deserve that type of disrespect. Wrote this before I even received my food so we shall see how it comes out!
