Been to this location two times and both experiences have been pretty bad. I went inside for the first visit, and the second was through the drive-thru. The employees that helped me were kinda mean. Not overtly rude, but you could tell they really did not want to be there and didn't care enough to do their jobs properly. Quality of the food is good like every other location, but you're lucky if you get everything you ordered. If you come here, ALWAYS be prepared to look through your order to make sure you received everything. A salad with no dressing or a mashed potatoes with no gravy. Gets frustrating when you have to walk inside after coming out of the drive-thru and they act like you are entitled when you ask for something they forgot to give you (in the case of the missing gravy). I suggest going to any other location rather than this one.
The best El Pollo Loco in the area. Efficient, GREAT customer service, packaged salsa’s and tortillas are always included, and all of the cilantro dressing containers are completely filled with dressing (not like the other locations that fill the containers not even half full… so disappointing).I love this location!!!!
I used the drive thru, employees were not attentive and definitely out of it. They got my drink order wrong and didn’t give me a receipt. They also cheaped out on my 3 taco combo by giving me literally 4 chips only. It’s supposed to come with a side a chips, it wouldn’t have even filled the tiny bag they normally use for Single order chips. I was just trynna fill a craving on a bad day and this pollo loco was run so lazy and disappointing
So I just left the drive through a couple minutes ago. First of all I explained the GUY that I wanted to order the "$6 burrito and large drink" offer that shows on my phone on the app. He seems to know what I'm talking about and he takes my order. When I get to the window 3 LADIES start yelling at me saying that I'm supposed to tell them about the offer when I'm ordering when I clearly told the GUY about it. Then they said the offer is not valid for the birria burrito when it clearly says so on the offer i showed them.If they have miscommunication in there, that is THEIR problem. They should know better about what they're selling and how to solve a minor problem. They ended up giving me something I did NOT order and they did NOT give me the lemonade i asked for. The 3 ladies were very unprofessional and unknowledgeable. The GUY was nice and polite. 4/5/2022 4:45PM.
These people can’t seem to get an order correct. Everytime we order we always get the wrong dish or shorted. Better to go to the Topanga store. They know what they are doing
Serving OLD food, I thought I'd give this peticular Pollo a second try. Nope. Old food. Strike 3 their out. Tried to call by phone to complain. No one even answers... STAY-AWAY....
If I could give them a zero I would. This place is the worst they run out of chicken the first time and a couple days ago I went to go pick up some food and I asked for a nachos and I was told that they ran out of nachos as I started to question the employee on the intercom event said so it will take 10 minutes to have the nachos were making them right now. I went on and said okay I can wait for them so she said order and pull up and pay and will bring the food when everything is ready to your car. I proceeded to move forward pay the employee and ask to please give us extra cilantro sauce and salsa. I waited for the nachos which took more like 20 minutes but that doesn't matter. When the employee brought the food to the car I asked again is there extra cilantro sauce and salsa and she responded yes there is. I ordered two salads and two orders of Super Nachos or something also 6 El cabron tacos. There was no extra sauce there was only two for the salads I don't know how that's extra when you have two salad but and there was no extra salsa in the food looked horrible and tasted horrible.
Walked in to this store. Nobody in line one person filling an order looked at at least three times before saying someone would be there inin a minute. The person attempted to take the my didn't listen or just didn't care but could not speak up and could not get the order correct. I walked out and will not come back to this location
El Pollo Loco is always good. Respectable green Pozole, but like all places like this, feels impacted by the protocols for the salsa bar, etc.
Ordered take out. Had to wait in drive through for 1 hour to get my food. They keep the store closed. Should Inform the customer if you only have drive through. And this is at 4:00 pm
