Poorly run team caused 40 min delay in what was supposed to be a curbside pickup of an online delivery. Arrived and called to announce my arrival and was told to hold. I waited 5 mins with no return and finally walked in to pick up my order (ONE sandwich). What greeted me inside was nothing short of an unmitigated disaster. A sea of people all waiting for their lunch order. I walked in and waited another 5 mins to be acknowledged. When finally greeted I was asked if I was ordering or picking up. When I informed them that I was picking up an online order she shuffles through what looks like 15-20 other order receipts, finds mine and informs me that "we are still working on yours". Mind you this is an app order that was placed 1 and a half hours prior to my arrival. I watch for 20 more mins as they work through other orders that were placed AFTER mine including an order of what appeared to be 100 sandwiches (slight exaggeration). Meanwhile, they have COMPLETELY forgotten that I am still on the phone waiting for my curbside pickup (I have been holding my phone in hand the entire time still on the line). Finally I see them preparing my order. She begins to slap mayo on some bread to which I exclaim "My order said no mayo" . She looks back at my order reciept and begins to start over. 10 more mins pass and my name is finally called to pick up my order. I grab my sandwich and tell her that I am still on the phone line waiting for my curbside pickup. She stares at me and grabs the phone on the counter realizing she has completely forgotten a customer on the phone... over 40 mins on hold. I leave and highly doubt I will return.
Great sandwich shop & really nice workers. The place is clean and ordering is easy. I ordered ahead online- got the chicken parm and got the new Chicken Chipotle crunch for the wife. Sandwiches were delicious and packed with meat unlike subway. The large is pricy coming in at $22 fir an 18" sub, but you get a lot for that money. Could only eat half and will save the rest for lunch.
It's good and it's a nice atmosphere but I didn't like the prices. It's too expensive in my opinion. Cost me over 18 bucks or a sandwich combo. That's the sandwich chips and small drink.Other than that everything was good including a service.
Pretty good cheesesteak. I lived in the Philly area for a bit. This is probably the best cheesesteak I've had that wasn't from Philly
Disappointed in this location. I found out about Capriotti's when I was in Vegas, and went there multiple times. My favorite sandwich shop. When I was in the Chatsworth area for a job and saw the Capriotti's sign, I had to go in for a Capastrami. I live in Thousand Oaks and we don't have one. I waited like 20 minutes for the sandwich even though it was not busy at all. And the sandwich was underwhelming and not made to my specifications. I asked for mayo and mustard which the sandwich ended up not having. Not what I remembered from the Vegas location. Not sure I'll be back to this location again.
I really liked their signature turkey sub "The Bobbie". Its made with slow-roasted turkey topped with cranberry sauce, handmade stuffing and mayo. The slow roasted turkey and mayo really held this sandwich together the cranberry sauce and stuffing felt like a subtle enhancement. Bread was soft and perfect.I had half size because I knew I wanted to try two sandwiches. I think a normal person will be satisfied with a small but will crave a medium. The capastrami is not as good too much slaw. Good flavor though just not for me when the Bobbie exists.
BEST SANDWICH EVER!I came in last night for the first time after seeing a picture online, and boy am I glad I did. I had the "Hot Bobbie," and it was truly the BEST SANDWICH I HAVE EVER TASTED! Where has this place been all my life?Jovani and Carlos were AWESOME! They were so helpful and took the time to answer my questions so that I could make the best sandwich choice. It's not often you find a place with GREAT FOOD and GREAT SERVICE! I'm totally HOOKED! It was so good; I'm going back to get another one, RIGHT NOW! Do yourself a favor, go get a Hot Bobbie from Capriotti's TODAY; you will be so glad you did!
The taste was alright, but my order was wrong. I guess it doesn’t matter what boxes you check on the online order because they made it basic. I paid $60 for 3 sandwiches + 1 soup. WAY overpriced!!
Yesterday it was my first time eating at their shop. I ordered the Wagyu Cheesesteak sandwich and OMG IT WAS AMAZING!!! I kept SAYING WOW OH WOW" because it was delicious! Better than Subway and Mike's Subs.... so I couldn't stop talking about it to everyone!!! So good!!! Great customer service too! Definitely my go to spot from now on!
I tend to notice that my experience here is a little hit or miss. The food is usually good but the wait times can oddly be long for a place that never is really busy. The last time I went there I was the only person in the store and somehow my order still took like 20 minutes. But other times I can arrive and be in and out in 10 minutes or less I feel like if the service was a little more on point I could recommend them over Jersey Mike's or something, but the service seems to be the thing that's usually lacking
