So branching out, My girlfriend and I wanted to try something different. She found this place not sure where, but we ordered the avocado toast and the strawberry and banana waffle. The driver that delivered it, is a whole other review. So we get our food, first thing there was hair in my girlfriends avocado toast. Secondly, my waffles were like rubber, and tasted like they were yesterday's last denied meal served with the smallest amount of syrup. We wanted something different... Oh did we get it. Lol.
It's just okay. It's a quaint little coffee shop, easy to find with ample parking inside a shopping center. It has cafe type seating and is inviting. It has a coffee specialty menu with a light brunch menu for a very promising vibe and meal. I will say, it's a bit pricey for what you're served and not as tasty as is expected. I ordered the ham and cheese jalapeño panini. This should just be called a ham and cheese sandwich with a canned jalapeño slice. It was nothing more than just that at $7. It tasted as meaningless as it looks in the picture. I also tried the bacon & egg waffle, which looked delicious when it arrived but was overwhelmingly sprinkled with the "everything seasoning". You'd bite down into thick salt granules which was unpleasant, the candied bacon bits were perhaps too candied because they were hard and chewy (i expect a crisp sweetness) the waffle itself was thick. It had a very light sweetness to it, which was pleasant, but the outer pocket edges were hard instead of crisp. The portions are enough for one, but may be considered small. Lastly, i tried the honey lavender latte signature drink. It was tasty but not enough to make a difference.
Ashley gave me Superstar customer service!!!! Food and drinks out of this ? world . I have the ? hibiscus tea , lavender milk tea with avocado toast and churro waffle. So glad l came here. Highly recommend to family and friends. Will be back soon.

The Honey Oat iced coffee is my new favorite! The pumpkin spice is my old favorite. The barista’s that helped me today were super cool!
This is a really great place for coffee and I’m a regular here for the past 4 years. I ordered a ham jalapeño panini and it was burnt. I understand things happen so when I went back to tell the girl that the panini is burnt she said “well, do you want another one?” Yes, I paid for it so I would like another one, common sense right? Also, their service has gone from excellent to plain rude.
Chaga drinks and the matcha waffle are highly recommended, but hopefully they’ll use non-disposable utensils for dine in guests.
Breakfadt Burrito was terrible. Not made fresh but tasted like it was prepackaged and warmed up. Was not good at all. Too High priced for mediocre food!
Increasingly less impressed with this place. My original review was 5 stars, but I haven't really felt that was since Roots' first year of business. No doubt, the drinks and food here are quite good but a little on the pricier side for coffee shops in the area. This may be a function of the level of quality of their ingredients.My greatest pet peeve, though, is the service. I don't think I expect too much. A friendly greeting, prompt service, and maintenance of the restaurant is the norm, but these details seem to always be missing when I come around. I don't think I'm ever really welcomed into the store or really addressed when I'm contemplating the menu. The speed of service is okay but there never seems to be a sense of urgency. Lastly, the shop never seems to be well tidied up when I come around. Regularly, there are chairs and tables covered in crumbs and sticky substances. The tables and chairs aren't rearranged when patrons leave. I was there an hour the last time, and both employees stayed behind the counter on their phones the entire time. Bonus points: I killed 2 mosquitos while I was there and ended up with 3 mosquito bites. I haven't seen mosquitos in months.Like I said, I do enjoy the food and drink options. They do use quality ingredients. But the polish is missing on this place. Not a bad choice for takeout but not a place I'll choose to study in or sit and chat with someone.
Coffee was nice and hot. Waffle with banana and strawberries was yummy. Friendly service clean place.
