I dunno what it was. Maybe it’s this particular location, because other L&L’s I’ve been too are so much better. This one was stingy with their meet and the Katsu was hard and dry. In the BBQ mix, we only got one short rib, 1 small, thin slice of beef and a small piece of chicken. Very disappointed and won’t be coming back to this location. I’ll stick to Long Beach and Lomita.
If my kid likes, then I like...the bowl with chicken bbq, rice and broccoli is currently my son's favorite. Just be ready to wait a good while because it's cooked when you order.
Had the chicken katsu and it was supe dry, like all the other reviews say. Wish I would of seen the reviews before i picked this establishment. After i ordered i noticed there was chicken sitting in a container on a cart and it was still there after leaving. Hopefully they were going to throw it away and not use it. Overall save your money and go somewhere else.Update: 10 minutes after posting review and eating there. Made it to the Del Amo Starbucks just in time. Yeah don't go there i must of had some of that left out chicken. Starbucks bathrooms on del Amo are clean just in case you can't make it home in time.
Really yummy food, the bbq beef bowl is delicious. I always order over the phone they get bzy. Great customer service too.
30 min to get your food. They need more people in the front. Only one person doing everything. Overpriced. Food is delicious

Yesterday we participated in an expo that allowed us to try out 6 participating restaurants and L&L was one of them. The sample portion size was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious but the best part was the staff. I will absolutely be back for dinner soon.If you are looking for a great catering option check them out.
Food was excellent, no complaints there. Also the girl that took my order was very sweet and friendly. They lose one star because it took about 20 minutes to receive my food and there were only two people ahead of me. To sum up, Great food, friendly service but do yourself a favor and bring some headphones or a book for the wait time
I am very dissatisfied with the chicken katsu. It was over cooked, hard to chew, and had no taste. I was only able to eat like 3 of the pieces. This was the case for all 3 of my chicken katsu’s I ordered. Needless to say I won’t be coming to this location.
Food was tasty and the curry had the right amount of kick to it
