I wish i can find less than 1 star , worst customer service ever . The food is really really good but these 2 idiots was very rude i was with my family and suddenly the police came and my kids was scared and asking what happened . And guess what they called the police on gentle man cause he wanted to pay with Amex and they dont accept it its shame and such a cheap place never coming back
First the atmosphere, it's family style seating, the tables are covered with white paper so they can dump your food directly into the table. Next, the food. It was ok, it ALL had the same flavor. The fried dishes were ok, nothing special. The service was good, but not exceptional. The price.... Way too high for a place that throws everything in a bag, then dumps it on your table. I realize there are people who appreciate this....I do not. I have been eating with a plate, fork, and a napkin way too long. I asked for coffee, they don't serve it... (P.S. coffee maker $15, cup of coffee sells for $3....do the math, buy a coffee maker) Count me out.
On 21-16-22 myself and two friends stopped by Claws in Cerritos for some delicious seafood. Well, we ended up ordering 2 catfish dinner's,a bag with corn, potatoes, sausage, shrimp and snow crabs. We also tried the fried shrimp and clam chowder ?. When I say they never disappoint, everything was absolutely scrumptious. Fresh, hardy and just plain good as hell. The staff were friendly, organized, prompt and on fire. Ready to give everyone a fantastic night out dining. Oh I can't forget the bartender, he was amazing, the Rams parade was over & the Lakers game was on. It was absolutely my pleasure enjoying great for, folks and fun at Claws Cerritos ?????!
The food was great until I notice hair was in my food . I found hair in my shrimp boil bag which ruined my appetite. I was very upset to spent over $100.00 and couldn't enjoy my food. My stomach is ruined for the rest of the night.??
The food's always good here!!! Yum!!We had peeled shrimp with corn and potatoes in lemon and butter sauce. We also had calamari and green salad which was one of the best salads I've ever had!!

Not sure if it's the result of our new world and no one wanting to work and so we're now dealing with certain food type shortages but they had no entrees tonight, on a weekend. Also, my wife and I have T-Mobile on our iPhone 12 Max phones and no reception there or outside and they only had QR menus. No regular or disposable menus. So that didn't work. So one of the employees allowed us to take a picture of his phone that had the menu, but no pricing on some items. All this together may of influenced how we felt about the food when it finally came, which was just ok. We'll probably try it again in the future but just can't see us coming back any time in the immediate future.
While vacationing in California my cousin took me to this restaurant called Claws. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere very much.
Food was ok. For a family of 10 it was $623.00. Service was slow 3 of our group ordered entrees got theirs first. Then by the time they had almost finished is when the rest of the food came out for us who ordered by the lb. FYI the lb of king crab is 2 legs no claws and cost $48. No cocktails only limited selection of beer. A bucket of 6 ultra was $27.
First time eating here but I absolutely loved it. The food is delicious. I am full and pleased.
