I have watched a lot of mukbangers eat this type of corn dog and wanted to try it. I looked on Yelp for nearby places that would sell Korean fried hot dogs. I was excited that there was a new place in Cerritos. It is located across the Cerritos mall and there is parking available. The service is friendly and the cashier was patient with me when I tried to figure out what to order. He explained to me the popular items but I wanted to order the hot dog with sausage and mozzarella cheese.It was empty when I arrived and the service was slow. I had to wait 20 minutes to get my food which I thought it would be quicker because there were no customers. Now for the taste of the food I was disappointed. The hot dog was hot which was good but it felt bland and there wasn't lot of cheese. They do have lots of sauces available to dress the hot dog like ketchup, honey mustard, ranch, chili, and chipotle sauce. Even though I did not feel satisfied with the food, I'm glad that I tried it to see what the hype was all about.
Our first time trying it and surprisingly it's pretty good. The batter has a good chew on it. Definitely will come back for more when we are in the area.
I've lived near this place since it opened and I was really excited to finally try it only to find their menu is VERY limited and to be honest kind of rude. All their meat options are pork save for one and unlike other hot dog or corn dog places you can't exchange the pork for beef. And your only other option is cheese. Why do I have a problem with that? I don't eat pork for religious reasons and I'm lactose intolerant so going in my only option is a plain beef corn dog while everyone else I'm with can have these other extravagant corn dogs with white truffle and ramen and cheese. I just think it's kind of messed up that its 2020 and this restaurant really planned out a whole menu and opened without considering the numerous people who don't eat pork. It's not like I'm a rare breed but go off I guess.
All the corn dog are fried to order.It’s so good.They are open for take out.
first time here! was so good! I got squid ink and potato mozzarella corndogs. these babies are pretty big too!
Great dogs, great prices. Half and half corn dog is the best. Mango Green Tea is also bomb.
This place is so good!!! My personal favorite is the all mozzarella, so good! There are other locations of this that just don't live up to it. There usually is a bit of a wait but it's definitely worth it and they usually move pretty quickly. My only complaint is that this location is really tiny so there isn't a lot of seating available, however the food does travel well, so taking it back home isn't a problem.
Interesting take on corndogs. The flour is made with rice, and they have lots of different sauces. I got the cheddar cheese and sausage one, pretty good. If you check in on Yelp, you get a free drink!!
Very interesting and of course the lil one loved the one coated in fries. They were huge.
