I came here with a friend for a late lunch. We arrived around 255 but they served us dinner being that they cut the lunch off at three. It would’ve been nice to honor lunch. The food at best was mediocre. Fairly bland and tasteless and overpriced in my opinion for what you get. As we were looking at our meal we laughed and thought we could’ve gotten better quality food for a quarter of the price at Del taco. At any event, it was mediocre food with mediocre service in a dark restaurant which some may like but it wasn’t for us. There are way better restaurants in the area with excellent service thankfully.

I was recommended this place by the locals about some good Mexican food for my lunch break from work. The outside look and location seems unassuming but the interior is quite large with interesting décor. The chips and salsa they provided were wonderful, and the salsa was fresh. I ordered the tortilla soup and the Miguel combination (a chicken enchilada, a beef taco, and chile relleno with rice and beans), which were all quite delicious. For the portion sizes given, they were reasonably prized. The service was also very friendly and the ambience was fantastic. If I have the chance to come back to the Palm Springs area, I would definitely come back again with family and friends.

The restaurante has good food butThe attitude leaves aLotTo be desired. Several times during a wait we were just leftStanding when several stationsHad emptyTables. Then we sat outside and I’m not anti smokers but when I eat I don’tWant to eat cigarette smoke. When I told the owner he had a not my problem. Your food is good but I won’tGo if you think you are doing us a favor by opening your doors.

I ate at La Tablita last night and I ordered Isabel's special combination which comes with a soft taco and an enchilada. I received the dish with just an enchilada and no taco. The place was so busy I couldn't get the attention of anyone to rectify this. In any case how does a waitress place a dish in front of a customer that's missing half the plate while announcing it as "Isabel's combination". Indeed I am to blame in that I didn't make a fuss when the check arrived but again it was so busy and we did need to leave. I would also add that the enchilada I did receive was tepid which means it must have been sitting for awhile.Randolph Baron

Delicious and amazing food and excellent service

Great friendly service, the Mexican food is the real deal, pleasant atmosphere and very interesting art display.

The best Mexican cuisine we have had! And we have enjoyed Mexican in many states. So good we went twice in the same week. Small place, so reservation are a good idea. Cadillac marg is great, too!

It has been about 30 years since our last visit. We live in La Quinta and seldom have been in the area. Today we were near and had dinner. The food and service was excellent. We will take more outings and bring our friends along with us.

Quick service with friendly employees. Food was great with large portions and good flavor.

We have visited this restaurant several times in past years and always had a very good experience. The food was always yummy. Unfortunately, this time the food was bland and nothing special. Service was spotty - we had to ask for the black beans three times that were to come with one of our dinners. Service overall was poor and that was not our experience on previous visits. It was crowded, not many wearing masks. Sadly, we may not return on our next PS visit. Trying another Mexican restaurant tonight.
