great food and great service as always.
First time here. Service was very friendly and efficient. We ordered the corn tortillas which were made by hand. We enjoyed the chips and salsa too.

Norma is the only waitress who makes delicious chavelas and the only friendly and attentive one. The owner bitc*ed about us asking for regular tortillas instead of homemade ones and he said they would be charged as homemade. We will look for a new chill spot.
Victor was very helpful selecting food items, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, for a surprise party I was planning. He was extremely courteous and made sure everything was packaged ready to serve. He even delivered everything on time himself! All the food was hot and delicious!! Outstanding job! Thank you Victor
I was very pleased with the El Portal Restaurant with the excellent service great food at very good prices and you just felt like you were very welcomed. I think everyone there seemed to be pleased it was not crowded being a Monday night and I will of course return there again soon
the food has no salt, it needed more flavor. I hate that their chicken that they use did the enchiladas is boiled with no flavor
Very friendly staff, we get take out.Small portions, food was just ok.Maybe dine in is good but take out was disappointing.
