Just don’t deviate from the burger. My crispy chicken sandwich was overdone. Hardly anything edible about it and the bun was burnt. There’s no place to really provide your feedback about your order unfortunately.
Normally we love Habit. However this time, all 3 meals in our party were poorly done. The double char was way undercooked making it inedible. The portobello char was lukewarm at best. The green beans were cold and not Crispy as we requested. Our chocolate shake was made as a malt. To top it off we had to wait even tho it was supposedly ready according to they're app. We were very disappointed.
I ordered a simple order from my mobile app and told my wife to pick up the order. On showing up on time, they did not get the order ready. They said they never received the order. On showing the order number, the staff was super rude and told they don't consider order number. I mean really, then why is the order number given on the receipt. Worst Habit Burger service in the area. This was my goto place. But recently the service has degraded multifolds.Avoid at any cost.
Food was hot, good but not amazing. Convince and use of app to pre-order was a big plus. Parking is a little hectic at this location.
I mostly pick up and take home food, a set a time that's normally ignored and end up eating 15 or so minutes -which melts the shakes that have been sitting on the counter the entire time. Staff can be rude and condescending when you point out something from your order that's missing. There's always something missing from my order, either a side that's missing, or they didn't add the avocado you paid for, something. I've rarely gotten a complete order from them. BAD management and RUDE people working sat this location.
I accidentally hit the wrong * button on the review. I give 5 stars due to the great food, good service, 98% on getting our orders correct. Both deliveries and pick up. Only once did our phone order had an error at pick up. They resolved it immediately.

Food is pretty good. But if you're thinking about ordering delivery from this place and have food allergies or "special" order (like plain), save yourself the trouble and just go there. Ordered delivery from this place maybe a dozen times EVERY SINGLE FREAKING TIME IT'S BEEN WRONG! How hard is it to make a plain cheeseburger?! Anyways, like I said if you want your burger "special" then just go in store because I guarantee you it will be wrong via delivery!

All habits burger grill are not created equal. The Veggie burger was ok but I have had better at the santa clara habit burger grill. The party was better, the bun was better and the service better at santa clara. I Probably will not return to the castro valley grill.
