I have been to other Shari's in other states. This one was underwhelming. The interior was definitely in need of repair/remodel. The food was average. It served its purpose, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again.

Recently ordered a slice of their chocolate cream pie on two different occasions. Hadn't ordered since before the pandemic and the slices used to be a regular slice size. My most recent orders I was given these tiny bity slices where you can finish in 3 bites and mostly just whipped cream! Slices are definitely overpriced ($4) and underserved!

We watched part of the Rodeo Parade before going into this restaurant. Our service was good. The food was pretty much average and took awhile to come out. Their prices are very reasonable. It seemed that they were short on staff. I knocked off 1 star because the carpeting throughout the restaurant has a foul odor and made it difficult to enjoy the experience more.

Turkey sandwich, salad & slice of pie. Turkey's extremely moist, flavorful and seasoned to perfection. My salad was prepared with fresh romaine & vegetables. Ended my rather delectable experience with a slice of Strawberry pie...??

With award-wining pies, Shari's Cafe gives you the lawlessness you need for your brunch. You can have a rib steak sandwich, someone else an omelete, and one may even order a pie just to end up stealing your fries. It may go unnoticed but Shari, whoever they are, has their own ketchup brand :)

The staff are always extremely nice, always check on their guests, and give the best customer service ever! I'm so blessed and happy to visit every time! Compliments to the chef as well!

If I were writing only about the regular meals, I'd give it two stars. The food all tastes very processed to me. The pies, however, are another matter, and I'd give them four stars -- not as good as homemade but pretty darn good. That averages out to three stars.

Had dinner tonight here. Haven't been here in a few years. While the meal was reasonable (cost), overall I would have given the food 3.5 stars. I ended up giving 4-stars because of my waitress. She had more than 7+ tables while I was there and she was great.Their food is just OK. I had the patty-melt and fries. I also ordered a side salad. They didn't have oil & vinegar dressing, however(?). The sandwich was big but the patty was "rare" (which was OK for me because I like it that way), but most folks would have sent it back because you "should" have your hamburger patties cooked (at least) medium (I did not specify how I wanted the burger). Fries were soggy but tasty. The salad was small but it was typical for a side. One of the cucumber slices had a "spoiled" spot on it, so I left it. I also ordered plain iced tea, which was brewed and it was OK (had lots of tea-sediment).This place is a step better than Denny's but not nearly as good as "Normans" (just down the street on CV Blvd.). But Normans isn't open for dinner at all (which is a shame). Because their patty melts are the best in CV. I can't see myself having dinner at 3pm? I did not have any pie. Two patrons next to me said the pie was very good but they were disappointed about the size of the slice they got, considering the cost.

I know this place is slow. We waited patiently. When our orders came, two orders were missing. We had to asked when the orders would come. So they came 15 minutes later but it was not the order we wanted. They also over charged us. Since our orders took so long, the waiter offered to give us a pie. We want to support local business, but not sure if we could go back though.

Been going there for years. Love eating here. Food is great. Servers are nice. Feels like an old fashioned diner.
